I came across Aedan's name on social media and decided to contact him. He responded quickly, and after learning about him and his experience, I knew I needed his help.

I adopted a 3 yo standard Poodle mix from the National Milldog Rescue in December 2023. It took several months for her to settle in before she began to bond to me.

As we settled into our routine, I knew it would be important to get her trained. I've had dogs before but not with this level of trauma so I needed to find someone who would work with us and our specific needs.

Aedan came to my house once a week for private lessons this summer. He provided me with the tools and encouragement I needed to be better able to work with my dog.

Aedan is amazing! He is the dog Shaman! I highly recommend him. His training style, knowledge and techniques worked so well for me and my dog. I will definitely use him again if we need additional training and if I get another dog!

I cannot recommend Shaman's Way enough! I have an 8-year old rescue beagle with high anxiety, who I thought was unable to learn new commands. Aedan was incredible, with his 20+ years of dog training experience, using effective techniques that taught commands I haven't been able to teach for years. After a few sessions, we saw major improvements in leash walking and commands, even with distractions. Most importantly, Aedan provided us with the tools to continue the training progress at home. Our beagle is now happier, calmer, and more obedient. If you have a rescue or any dog in need of training, this program is worth the investment.

Aedan is a wonderful trainer! He's patient and understands reactive dogs. Our two Aussies did so well under his instruction and we took away so much useful information from our training sessions. While they are both still dog reactive, we now know how to combat that better and help our dogs still have a great life!

Aiden with Shamans Way had been dedicated, creative, and productive with our family dog and members in trying to shape our nervous and sometimes aggressive pet into a more happy and calm version of his typically loving self. Our dog is a great family pet but dangerous to strangers outside our home. We took him to another local dog training facility before Shaman's way. After 45 minutes they had not only given up but recommended euthanasia. Shaman's Way stepped in knowing his previous recommendation and faced the problem with creative alternatives and a genuine sense of caring.

Aedan did a wonderful job working with our border collie! She is a bright dog but has a tenancy to only listen to adults and do what she wants the rest of the time. Aedan was able to work with my 12 year old twins and show them how to direct her in a positive way and she now follows their commands with ease. We’ve seen so much growth while working with him over the last couple of months!

Aedan is amazing! He has many years of animal behavior experience and is very knowledgeable. His positive reinforcement methods create a strong bond between dog and owner. He helped my 6 year old pitbull pass all the Canine Good Citizen tests in order to become a certified Therapy Dog. He offers private lessons, service dog training, and works with aggressive breeds to help them calm down. I can’t thank him enough for all the good he does and hard work he puts in.

I had Aedan as my trainer for my dog Bonez since I first got him at 8 weeks old. Once Bonez was old enough to start traning classes we went every week. Aedan was amazing with Bonez. We did 3 different classes with him. Beginners, intermediate and the advanced classes. Bonez is now a certified Good Canine Citizen due solely to Aedans hard diligent work with my puppy!! He is an amazing trainer and understands dog behaviors wonderfully. He's also good at training the humans on how to handle their dogs better so they can have the best life possible. I loved the get together outside of the trainings so that the dog parents can Mingle and the dogs can Socialized. I would definitely recommend Aedan and his services to anyone looking.
