I am sick about how bad my dog turned out. We have an aussie/golden with thick hair. When we came in she asked what we wanted and I told her to cut his hair short. (He was really shaggy) She was super nice and she seemed knowledgeable so I figured she knew what she was doing. A few hours later she called and said my dog was finished. Great! She then explained that she "went a little shorter than we discussed" but I still wasn't concerned, I even told her it will grow, no worries! Then my husband picked him up. My dog was completely shaved! It's choppy and he has razor burns all over his body. I will take some responsibility for not asking questions such as "have you groomed an Australian Shepherd before"? But seriously, what groomer shaves a double coated dog! And no...he was not matted! Please be careful who you take your babies too. I will add before and after pics.

My recent experience at the grooming salon was incredibly disappointing. Despite clearly requesting a “show cut” for my Alaskan Malamute to improve her appearance, particularly addressing the choppy look of her butt hairs, the outcome was far from what I expected.

Instead of trimming or blending the fur as requested, the groomer proceeded to shave my dog’s butt, completely disregarding the fact that she is a double-coated breed. This decision not only altered her natural appearance drastically but also raised concerns about her comfort and well-being. As a responsible pet owner, I expected the groomer to have the knowledge and expertise to understand the unique needs of different breeds and coat types.

The lack of communication or understanding on the groomer’s part was evident, and it has resulted in a loss of trust in this establishment. It’s disheartening to see such a disregard for my pet’s needs, and as a result, I will be taking my business elsewhere in the future. I urge pet owners to ensure clear communication and understanding with groomers before entrusting their beloved pets to any salon to avoid similar misunderstandings and disappointments.

Jozlyn was amazing with my dogs nails, I've tried to do it myself with mixed results but brought her to Jozlyn and she was amazing and very calming with my dog. Their cat named Joe that hangs out at the shop is awesome too 🤣

My chaweenie, Tank absolutely loved his spa day at Serenity Pet Spa! Jozlyn was able to get him washed, dried, and she did a fantastic job de-shedding him! He was very, very happily snuggling with her and her significant other when I came to pick him up! Thank you for fitting us in last minute yesterday, and for taking such great care of Tankie!!!!

I have an American Akita and Jozlyn has done an amazing job with his bath and brush. Akitas are double coated and shed like crazy. He has not always liked the groomer but seems to be happy with Jozlyn, definitely going back.

I severely regret bringing my babies here. It is clear she doesn't have the Grooming knowledge that comes along with providing services to different dog breeds. She shaved both of my dogs bottoms all the way to the skin giving them razor burn. My babies are absolutely miserable they have spent the last few days rubbing their butts on the floor and one of them it's so bad she's crying. One of my dogs haircuts is extremely uneven and there are several spots where she bumped the skin. Iam just so heartbroken for my babies.
