Scenthound Boulder is truly one of a kind! Their focus on canine health and well-being sets them apart, and I couldn’t be happier with the care my dog, Missy, receives. I take her in once a week, and not only does she come home smelling fresh and clean, but the team also keeps a close eye on her overall health. During one visit, they pointed out some concerns with her teeth that I hadn’t noticed. Thanks to their keen attention to detail, I took her to the vet and was able to get her teeth cleaned before any serious issues developed. I’m incredibly grateful for their expertise and the proactive approach they take to dog wellness.

Got my little dude in the next day and did a great job. After talking with the staff I had zero worries about leaving my bro in their capable and caring hands. Got him back in about an hour and he looks amazing! It's Friday night, perhaps dinner and a club or two. Wait, he is the only one that got the spa treatment today. Maybe a new toy and chill at home.

Super friendly staff, and all the treatments to keep my dog healthy - shampoo, nails trimmed, and teeth brushed! These are necessary services vs. cosmetic. And delivered in a really kind and healthy environment. Highly recommended.

We live only a few minutes away from this location, so I was extremely hopeful it would be great. The first grooming was good, even though they have a very hard core sales strategy. We decided to try the membership after getting an obsessive amount of calls/texts. I was under the impression that a "grooming" included bath, blow dry, etc which is why I signed up for the membership. It doesn't. The membership includes one wash per month which is JUST a wash, you end up leaving with a soaking wet dog. It also gives you a discount on other services/products, which they will UPSELL like crazy. I came in once and said, please make sure to really wash his face well. "Oh, let's add a blueberry mask for X dollars". I begrudgingly said yes even though that felt insane.
The final straw for me was with the last grooming (remember, the blow dry, etc was extra). I was in a rush and they knew that. They kept trying to go over the "report card" with me and I just kept saying "I am late, I need to go". 20 mins later I left VERY late for my next appt and upset. I came home to find that my dog had patches that were significantly shorter in some areas. I texted them asking what happened and their response was "he has cowlicks". We have had our dog for almost 5 years with maybe 36 grooming occasions and this has never happened, even having gone very short every summer. I would have appreciated maybe an apology and owning that he looked dismal. I tried to cancel my membership. They said I can't cancel without one more month. In light of them having messed up and not owning it, I pushed and asked for them to cancel asap. Nope. I would stay away from this place unless you have hours to spend on report cards every time you get a grooming as well as wanting to be upsold on every single thing.

I like Scenthound's procedure and people. I've had my mini schnauzer in twice for the basic wash, nail grind, ear, gland and dental check. The oatmeal shampoo has almost no scent and seems to leave his skin happy.
Good pricing and communication. Heather at the meadows store is very canine savvy and returns calls right away.

While SCENTEHOUND does a marvelous job grooming and NOT having dogs in crates for hours waiting to be picked up, I find the "report card" a bit intimidating!!!! We work very hard grooming, doing teeth, ears, nails, etc. but when I see we don't meet the #5 for undercoat I get upset. It's why I send Ruby to SCENTHOUND to do what I can't do on my own. My girls is honestly well cared for why do i have be dinged for not reaching their standards!!

My dog had not been groomed in a couple of months, and her double coat was compacted, nails were long and her feet were super grinchy. The Scenthound groomer did a great job of getting her clean and pretty, and my dog was so happy and felt so good that she pranced all the way home!

Scenthound was great and took great care of both my dogs, and old lady lab, and a very nervous Bernese mountain dog. We will be visiting regularly!
