Scenthound Petaluma

My two Pembroke Welsh corgis went to Scenthound for the first time today and they were so well taken care of! I appreciate the Scent check with areas to improve and I am making regular visits at Scenthound a part of the corgis care to keep them healthy and great looking! I also have access to check in with vet which gives a piece of mind. Highly recommended!! 11/18/2024: I wanted to provide an update on what a difference regular visits at Scenthound are making, especially for one of my corgis that had a few really bad hotspots that I didn’t get under control despite trying several treatments. They are all healed, no licking or itching plus her fur is growing back! I am so relieved and most importantly, my corgi is feeling so much better! Thank you!

My Belgium Malnois Tia Maria can be difficult. She's does not like strangers touching her. That changed today. I have a difficult time trying to trim her nails. She pulls her paws away. I was pretty frustrated. Her nails were long and uncomfortable and it was a little painful when she would paw me or tried to give me affection. The nails were clicking on the floor as she walked. She loves me to bathe her and clean her ears, but won't let me do her nails. I warned to Scenthound Petaluma staff in advance that there might be a problem. My vet prescribed Trazodone and Gabapentine that she wanted me to administer prior to bringing Tia In for vaccinations and office visits. Per the directions, I gave her a dose the night before and another dose in the morning two hours prior to the Scenthound visit. I also gave her hemp calming gummies by Pet Honesty. This helped a lot. She warmed up to the staff quickly. They were able to bathe, clean her ears, brush her teeth and clip and her nails. Her breath smells so much better. She was getting stinky mouth. The bad breath is gone. I'm so happy. She is happy. Problem solved. I am satisfied with the service. I signed up for the repeating monthly plan and I will bring her by once a month to have the full treatment. My plan allows me to drop by without an appointment once every two weeks and get her nails sanded. I'm definitely taking advantage of this. Tia and I highly recommend Scenthound. 5 stars

Scenthound always takes great care of my dog Skye! The shedding treatments are so worth it, she always looks and feels great after!

The first time our 6 year old border Collie had ever been professionally groomed. He did very well. The staff was patient and kind. He was a huge mess, with matted fur. He came out looking like a different dog. He was gorgeous!!! Thank you so much for working with our dog and making him look so good.

Wonderful experience for my pup, Isabella! We walked in and the place was clean, nicely appointed and welcoming. The front desk lady was friendly and accommodating - very comfortable atmosphere. Isabella had a nail trim and grind - and she did great! Her nails look the best they ever have! We will be back for another trim/grind and possibly other services! Thank you for taking such care with my girl!

Loved the whole experience (so did our dog). Richard and Grace made our FIRST visit easy and convenient, explaining the treatments not at all too expensive. I recommend Scenthound highly.

Wonderful service and care. It is not cheap and there are a lot of ads ons, but you get what you pay for! They take great care of my dog and my pup always comes back well groomed (no shedding, great butt sculpting!)

These guys took money out of my account I complained then they sent it back in again then I canceled my service because of their attitude then they took money out of my account twice they’re crooks they steal from you do not trust these guys they are lowlife they try to be so sweet and cute and wonderful and then they steal from you. There is nothing worse in life. All is not lost. I do have an appointment with the district attorney of Sonoma to press charges
