Richard was extremely helpful, very knowledgeable, and not scared at all, he helped us sex the tarantula we picked up, and answered all the questions about the snake I hope to buy soon, and his answers matched the research I’ve done so far, so I do believe his information is accurate. The snakes seem to be in great health, and they are in very solid enclosures for a pet store! Thank you for an amazing experience, I hope to see you again soon when I get a snake!

I'd first like to say that I love this store. I drive down from Longmont every Sunday to get crickets for my cresty (would rather avoid pets whatever mart/co). This a speciality store for reptiles. They have stuff for your scaley critters that are very hard to find at the big box stores. Staff is always friendly and helpful, especially the guy who usually works Sunday mornings. The owner is very friendly too, and if you ever get a chance to meet his dog, he's adorable. Again, great shop, good people. Will continue to support this small business.

Every time I call here, The guy who answers the phone I don’t know if his name is Shane or something like that is so kind and caring about reptiles and about my questions. That’s how businesses should treat customers.

This is a great store with nice employees! I got a juvenile axolotl from them last summer and he (presumed male) has been doing fantastic! I was new to axolotls (been fish keeping for a while) and was glad to source a healthy one. At first I was really worried when I realized he had a fused gill, but it doesn’t affect him at all. He was 2.5 inches when I got him and is almost 9 now…big boy. I recommend this location for axolotls. In all honesty the one I got here for $35 is WAY healthier than an expensive one I purchased online (they are kept in separate tanks). If you do not have experience keeping fish or cycling aquariums be cautious in choosing an axolotl as a pet and do your homework so you don’t kill an animal.

I had absolutely the best experience today with Erica. She is so friendly, passionate ,and knowledgeable. She helped me so much figure out all the right things to set up my two new Dumpy tree frogs ( Lime and Lotus) . She helped me plan and create a beautiful waterfall system and taught me sooo much about bioactive vivarium , which I can say I am now a proud owner of. I learned about isopods and springtails The store is clean and I never felt rushed even though I asked tons of questions. Their cricket card is such a smart ideas. And if you buy stuff that you don’t need you can always return it for store credit. I am so happy with my experience and I just wanna shout out again to Erica!!!! Thank you - you rocked today! Now off to being a happy frog momma - knowing that if I ever go out of town for a long time- Lime and Lotus can come back and you’ll babysit them 🐸💚🐸💚🙏🙏thank you so much

Jacob was a super awesome nice guy when I came in and let me see all there super cool animals same with Jarrod! Both of them were extremely nice and welcoming! Respect to all these dudes that take of these animals an plants! Thanks for letting me hang in the shop for a lil! Would 100% trust these guys with any reptilian needs! Awesome shop and place to go!! This location has only been here for 3 months and I must say, it is my favorite location so far. I went in looking for 3 specific tarantulas and they had all 3. I ended up buying 2 of the 3 only because the other one was juuuuust barely too small of a sling. If it was a little bigger I would have bought all 3. The store was clean and didn't smell like a reptile store. The girl working there was more than helpful and knowledgeable. I never once felt rushed which is also a plus. The prices were noticeably better than the scales n tales in northglenn when it came to T's at least. I will most definitely be a returning customer! Thank you!
