When we first brought Ellie home. She was the perfect dog, loved to cuddle, very chill, not too high maintenance. We love her with all our hearts, but as time went on her issues started becoming worse. Her separation anxiety, general anxiety, her fear aggression with other dogs. It started to exacerbate especially when I left on a business trip for two weeks and she started getting destructive. But after two weeks at San Diego Dog Training with Daniel and Tori. Not only is her personality back, but she's come back happy, confident, and eager to go outside with others again. Everything that we worried about previously is gone. She is now (in our personal opinion) the best dog that me and my spouse could ever ask for. Thank you Daniel, thank you Tori. We both cannot even begin to thank you enough for all that you've done for our family and our girl! If anyone needed dog training, confidence building for their dog, or just good socialization start up for your furry best friend, I cannot recommend this place enough. Not only that but the owners are some of the best people I have every met in my life.

We couldn't be happier with the results we've seen from working with Daniel and Tori. They transformed our rescue dog from being highly anxious and a terror on the leash into a confident and well-behaved little companion. Their techniques and patience have also significantly alleviated her separation anxiety. She did a two-week board and train with them, and their use of a pack mentality with their own dogs was incredibly effective! We continue to use them as resources for maintenance training and it has been so helpful! They truly are dog whisperers, and we couldn't recommend their services more!

Taking my dog here was an absolute game changer. He's a rescue that was having some issues with reactivity and protectiveness and i was having a hard time trying to work on it. But when i dropped him off for the 2 Week board and training he came back a completely new dog. The best part is that during that time i was constantly sent updates and pictures of my sweet boy and when i got him back they gave me lots of helpful tips and advice and to this day he still goes there for daycare and absolutely loves it! And the owners are the best!! 10/10 would recommend!!

I had a unique situation where I unfortunately lost one of my two pups to cancer last year, leaving my two-year-old French bulldog very protective with high anxiety. I take him to work every day, but due to his stressful last year, he was snipping at people and wouldn’t let anybody come close to my new puppy. I dropped my pup off with Daniel and his wife for a week and noticed some changes immediately in Banyans temperament. He was still showing some aggression so Daniel went way above and beyond by totally guaranteeing Banyans results. He has a true natural-born gift to speak and communicate with animals and his compassion and professionalism pour into his work. Banyan is doing so much better and has been shown a path towards less anxiety and purpose. Daniel and his wife are amazingly loving, caring people and they made my pup feel like part of their family. I am so glad that I’ve found this service to help train my pups-and me for that matter! The follow-up care is for real, the ability for Daniel to “speak” to animals is for real, and the results are for real. It’s rare to find such love and passion these days and San Diego Dog Training exudes all of that and more! Highly recommend and 6 out of 5 stars!!

Daniel and Tori are awesome! Hands down the best place to go to for Dog Training! They were very informative the whole time with the process and took care of my 1 year old pit bull. The dog was anxious around new people and other dogs but within a week of training with Daniel & Tori, she became super comfortable and relaxed anywhere we took her! So thankful I came across this place and would highly recommend ! Very professional.

We adopted a challenging pit bull ( 4 years old, not house broken, a bit crazy) and he was a bit too much for our nervous TJ rescue shepherd. After a week with Daniel they both were like new dogs! They now have a wonderful relationship with each other and the most amazing thing is our nervous TJ rescue came into his own and learned how to be a more confident and happy dog. I can't say enough great things about Daniel and Tori! They took in my puppy, Roo, for two weeks when I first got him, and the progress he made was incredible. They taught him basic commands and how to walk on a leash, which was a huge relief. His potty training also got off to a great start thanks to their guidance.

When I experienced a small setback with his potty training at home, Daniel and Tori were quick to offer a follow-up call to help me correct the issue. Their ongoing support has been invaluable, and Roo continues to stay with them on my long workdays. I feel so much peace of mind knowing he’s in such capable and caring hands. Bali is a large french pyrenees, labrador mix. She was pulling barking incessantly, a little bit of separation anxiety.
