Ruff N’ Tumble Acres here in Taylorsville GA. Wow! A gem just 2 miles from me! I can’t say enough compliments about the atmosphere and care present there. I’m so grateful to have found them. I definitely encourage anyone who is looking to board, groom, or drop off for the day to feel at ease in their hands. Colleen, owner and operator gives her whole heart. Her love of dogs and people is evident in the gracious giving of her time to serve others. She graciously gave of her own time in helping with my grand dog. It’s amazing to watch how she handles it all. A well run, clean, welcoming, loving atmosphere. What a joy interacting with Colleen. It’s very evident she has years of experience with dogs and how best to serve them. My grand dog was well taken care of while he was there. He loved her even giving her a hug of thanks for the much needed grooming. I think she speaks dog language she knows them so well. Lol! So grateful for her! Before & after & hug photos.

We love Ruff N Tumble Acres! Colleen is very knowledgeable and you can tell she loves what she does! Winston looks so good every time I pick him up! If ever I need anything, even just to ask a question, she gets right back to me. She gives me tips on training. She definitely goes the extra mile to make you and your pet feel comfortable. Winston loves playing with the rest of the animals. So glad I found this place! Convenient, affordable and easy to get an appointment.

I cannot say enough amazing things about Ruff N’ Tumble! Our 5 month old Doberman pups finally found the best place to be loved, play, and deeply cared for. What really touched me was how much Colleen cares for these babies. She has helped give us training tips and inside into our interactions with our boy. As a behaviorist, Colleen’s advice is like gold! When we picked our baby up from boarding for several days, he looked beautiful! Allie did an amazing grooming job. His nails were perfectly dremmeled and boy does he smell amazing. His coat is so beautiful and Allie made him shine. Not only will this be our place for boarding, but our pups will also be going to doggie day care here. They provide the coolest open areas for the dogs to run and play all day! Our baby is always falling asleep in the car on the way home from his day of fun there. And it has been so cool to see him play with different dogs. Socialization is HUGE! What a wonderful place! Colleen has amazing attention to detail in setting up a clean, fun, and safe environment for her dogs. Several different play areas, shaded areas, covered areas, and large stalls for boarding. Daily updates provided. Your dog comes home happy, exhausted and clean!! We are so happy to have found Ruff N Tumble! Highly recommend!! We will be back.

I truly cannot say enough about how wonderful Colleen is! We had a beach trip planned and the place where we previously boarded our dogs wasn’t responding. I saw Ruff N Tumble Acres mentioned in a local Facebook group when someone asked for recommendations for boarding dogs. After reviewing the websites for all the various places, this one stood out because the schedule posted on site states the dogs are outside from 7 am- 7 pm. Most other places only let them out for an hour and a half or so several times a day. I work from home and my dogs are used to someone being with them frequently and being able to play and go potty as they please. The thought of them being cooped up in a kennel for so many hours a day was difficult and ruled the other places out.
Colleen not only responded quickly when I reached out to see if she had room for our dogs, she also invited us out to see the facility AND asked us to bring the dogs so they could explore and it wasn’t a new place when they were dropped off when we left for our trip. No other place (that I have used) has ever done that before. The attention to detail she put into the kennels was so impressive and it was so clean. She chatted with us for over an hour and we felt so great about leaving the dogs with her. She has worked with dogs for years and her knowledge and patience is top notch.
While we were gone, we got daily updates and pictures and/or movies of our dogs playing with others. Grooming services were excellent and they were nice and clean when we picked them up today. Colleen also noticed one of our dogs had an allergy flare up and offered Benadryl (she waited until we gave permission first) and also recommended a new brand of dog food that has helped other dogs with allergies. When we picked our dogs up today they were wiped out from all the playing and activity they have had all week.
I am SO thankful for Ruff N Tumble and will definitely be boarding our dogs there from now on. It was worth every penny to have our boys happy and safe, and we did not have to worry about them one bit while on vacation. I will recommend this place every opportunity I get.

I am so happy with this place , she has a nice set up for playing and roaming around and she sends pictures and videos, I feel like my dog is really happy in the day care because he is not kenneled all day he has play time and can go inside for A/C when they get hot . When I pick him up he is asleep as soon as I get out of her driveway. I highly recommend her because I just can't leave my fur baby anywhere that I'm not happy with.
