Rucker Dog Training is the best out there! I give their name out to anyone and everyone when they say my pup is so well behaved. They bring you into the family immediately and is always looking out for the welfare of your pup. My Australian Shepard, Maverick, loves to attend classes and is so well mannered thanks to RDT. Scott and his team knows plenty about dog training so your pup will always be in the best hands. Because of RDT I am not afraid to allow Maverick to have his off-leash freedom, as long as he’s still listening. Scott’s training style not only works on obedience but also encourages a healthy relationship between the owner and pup.

My pup has been home less than 24 hours and Jax and I just finished a 5 mile off leash walk! There are no words to describe how thankful I am to all of the staff at Rucker Dog Training. Outside distractions are very different from board and train, but I felt more confident after our one on one session. I am looking forward to attending advanced training. You guys really do care about the dogs and the owners. Thank you!

We’re big fans of Rucker Dog Training, Scot’s family and the crew there. I’ve known Scot for the past 10 years and found him to always be consistent, calm, and genuinely interested in helping others… keeping folks honest with his entertaining humor and imparting confidence in both the humans and pups he works with. I’ve participated in Scot’s program successfully with multiple Cane Corso’s, from group training pups to board & train, to kenneling… and highly recommend Rucker’s to all our adoptive families. Rucker is the absolute best that there is when it comes to training and boarding your dogs. We have two boys who absolutely thrived in their training program and our biggest guy loves returning to them any time he needs to be boarded.
We rescued our Great Dane from their foster program and could not be happier with the care he received (and continues to receive) from Rucker. We are always so pleased with the personalized care and attention they give the dogs while they are staying under the Rucker roof. We honestly could not ever say enough about how wonderful this place and team is.

Rucker Dog Training is the best of the best! After adopting a rescue GSP, we decided we were going to do things right and own a trained dog! We have never regretted our decision and we still go to training weekly! That’s the beauty of it! You can go as long as you want! Derby is now a trained therapy dog and that was the best decision we’ve ever made! You will never regret having a trained dog by Scot!

Scott and the whole crew at Rucker are absolutely amazing. The patience, the knowledge, and the understanding of your fur baby and the interaction between you the human is incredible. Our puppy came home from her 2 week board and train like a new dog. So incredibly well behaved. She knows her commands and we couldn't be happier. The free Saturday classes are so awesome. Being able to have your fur baby in a room with 50+ other dogs and them focused on you and the command is incredible. Thank you to all the Rucker crew. A+++

Cannot say enough good things about this place and the team! I first contacted RDT looking for advice on the training process for a dog to become a therapy dog for the school I work at. They were beyond helpful and quickly convinced me to start then, and come meet some puppies they had available. I met Winnie and was sold. Before I brought her home, I went to few classes with her to learn her and get a grasp on training. I got her at 3 months with a solid foundation of basic obedience. Scot and his team have supported us through every step since then. We attended class a couple times each week and I knew I could reach out for help whenever needed. At 6 months Winnie passed her CGC test and the school district test. She is so loved at school and really a game changer. Her gentle demeanor and well-trained behavior are a testament to the outstanding care and expertise provided by Rucker Dog Training. They truly understand what it takes to raise and train dogs that are not only obedient but also loving and adaptable to various environments.

Winnie is the best dog I could have ever hoped for.
