River Dog Inn

We love coming to this place. It is a big enough open field for small doggies on one side and bigger ones on the other! Great place if you are single to meet all kinds of wonderful people ?. And also to socialize, bringing the dogs is just an excuse to get together with friends. This is Marvin, Sheba and Bob! Say hi to them if you see them. Marvin is not little any more and everyone at the park is watching him grow ?.

We were passing through town and needed a place to leave our dog for the afternoon. We contacted river dog in advance. Everything went smoothly. Our 8 year old black lab was very happy as were we. Would definitely use them again.

We wholeheartedly trust the staff here with our dog, and he LOVES coming for daycare and occasional boarding! They are so attentive and accommodating. It definitely eases any anxieties we might have about being apart from him to know that he is having so much fun and being well cared for. And Kristen, the groomer, seriously has a magic touch!

my dog loves this place more than his own bed. all the staff are professional, kind, and update you on your dog when you go to pick up! i have been to a lot of doggy daycares and i feel very comfortable dropping my dog off here.

I don’t have enough great things to say about all the lovely people that work here. Kathy and the entire staff are so accommodating and helpful. My little dude Calvin has some separation and fear issues and Kathy did a full walk through with him to set up the right environments so that he could enjoy coming here and be with the right sets of dogs. I end up having to travel a good bit and it gives me peace of mind knowing I can leave my dog here where he’ll be happy, safe and well cared for by everyone. The webcams are great to keep an eye on your pups, and it’s also nice that River Dog does weekend playtime so you don’t feel quite as guilty when you have to leave them behind (many others in the area don’t). Highly recommend for your boarding and daycare needs!

Wow, I have never met a more caring owner/staff. Our dog had a poor experience at a different doggie daycare, and coming here was the BEST decision we could have made!! They were able to offer daily reports on our pup and she had a great experience when she boarded there, as well. Maggie is high energy and honestly difficult at times, but they handled her so well! They all knew her by name quickly. I could give story after story of how helpful they were, but I will just select a few. 1. Our dog had some issues going to the bathroom due to her long hair one day and needing groomed. Long story short, the owner gave her a sanitary trim without being asked! 2. I had a few last minute scenarios where Maggie needed boarded at the 11th hour, and they were always caring and happy to accommodate. 3. They shared which toys Maggie liked so we could purchase them. 4. They cared for Maggie like family! I cried when we said our goodbyes!! They also took interest in us, which was so kind! If you are in Memphis and need a doggie daycare-look no further. Seriously, we had the very best experience and are so sad to be moving to another state because we no longer get to be patrons of this establishment! We will miss River Dog Inn and cannot praise them enough!!!

I have brought two different (very mischievous) puppies here from 4 months old, and I can’t describe how amazing and patient Kathy and her team have been. It’s obvious how much they love dogs, and they have played an extremely important part in their socialization and development. Definitely feels like they are part of our family.

I wish I could give them 100 stars! Kathy and the team at River Dog are the most caring and patient boarding facility we have ever used! They truly care for the well being of your dogs and go above and beyond to make sure they are properly cared for. I can't say enough good things about River Dog! They are the best!!!!!
