Instead of taking the dog out of their home, he will come to your home and observe your dog in their own environment. Garrett is the real thing! My 4 month old Belgium Mel mix did the 3 week board and train and he came back a confident pup. Garrett set the foundation for my pup to have a great life. Our pup was out of control (which is 100% my fault). We had him do the boarded training and he came back a completely new pup. I 100% recommend Ridley K9 for all training needs. It was worth every penny. This was also our second attempt with trainers. Ridley’s training is effective, and they spend a lot of time explaining and ensuring the owners understand the mechanics behind all phases and behaviors. Consistent reinforcement is critical or it’s a waste of time and money. As the owner you must also commit to your role in making sure your pup retains all the hard work Ridley does during training. Garrett has worked with my family for over well over a decade. My Mother, Grandmother, and sister all use Ridley K9. He is knowledgeable in all breeds and excels with problem cases. We have had GSD's, Rott's, and of course American Bulldogs.

Garrett is kind and deliberate with teaching us humans how to interact with our K9 friends. We have had a few trainers over the years, Garrett is far and away the best! We have two of his AB dogs and they are a wonderful addition to our family! Before you get that cute puppy, make sure Garrett does an evaluation. He is the dog whisperer. We won't get a rescue or pure breed without his blessing.

Garrett was an excellent service provider throughout our experience, training our family pet. We have a young Border Collie who has strong herding instincts that sometimes get in the way of her being on her best behavior, and in a custom 2 hour consultation, Garrett talked us through and showed us personalized instructions for her re-education and really exhibited mastery of his craft by befriending our dog and then getting her to work for him within the first 20 minutes.

Discovering Garret was a stroke of luck for us. Dealing with our 2-year-old Bernedoodle's barking and lunging issues, we opted for the 2-hour in-home training session with Garret.
