We love Lance at Ready, Sit, Go! He speaks dog so well and has helped so much with our darling, but super shy, Bernedoodle. We hired Lance when our pup was about 8 months old and he helped with her basic training, walking on a leash, finding her place when guests come in, crate training, etc. His knowledge and guidance (and sense of humor) made that process so easy. About a year after we finished her initial training, she had an incident with a dog walker and we called on Lance again. He gave us sound advice and invited us to attend his weekly group training sessions, where he helped her work through her anxiety issues. I recommend Lance to everyone and am so glad we have him in our lives. He’s truly one of a kind.

Lance is simply the best trainer out there. We’ve had 5 vizslas in our adult lives and after various do-it-yourself and other professional training methodologies, we turned to Lance for our current boys, Brooks and Dempsey, when they were pups. Lance's training has been life changing for our family and our dog. Piggy was a dog aggressive pit bull, and we dreaded taking her on walks or allowing her to be around other dogs. She was also out of control when guests would come to our home.
After working with Lance, Piggy has made incredible progress! In group classes she would key in on other dogs and obsess. With Lance's training and consistent reinforcement she can now participate in group class without aggression. Walks are less stressful and with fewer aggressive outbursts. We have also been able to have strangers over at our home and Piggy sits in her "place" like a good girl.
We continue to work with Piggy and Lance in our one on one and group training and her improvement is noticeable each week.
Lance understands that each dog is different and will work until he finds the appropriate approach to help your dog. If you want a dog trainer that is dedicated to your dog and their particular quirks, Lance is your man.

I started my Aussie, Tate, with Lance when the puppy was only 4 months old. Tate has become an amazing dog with phenomenal impulse control - something our other Aussies have struggled with. We have two young granddaughters - he's gentle and so well behaved! We live on a rural property with all sorts of exciting smells and distractions - Tate comes running back immediately when called!

I don’t know how we got so lucky to find Lance! My pup Mason is a 85 lb (and growing) Pyrenees / Anatolian puppy who is a very ‘independent thinker’ 🙂

I can easily say Mason would not be the amazing dog he is today without Lance’s support. We had previously had intro meetings with two other highly rated dog trainers in the area, but none seemed to have such a structured and tactical program that was still able to be tailored to our specific needs.

When we first met Lance, Mason was a sweet, but very sheltered/scared 8 month old rescue - after a month and a half of working with Lance, Mason grew into a happy, confident, wagging, service-dog ready pup. I am so impressed by how far we came in such a short time.
