Felicia is an amazing dog trainer! We have a 6 month old German shepherd named Chief that we sent to her. Chief had a big problem with always play biting everyone! Every second of the day he was biting me or my kids whether we were sitting down relaxing or just walking by him. He also had issues with jumping on people and he didn’t know how to walk on a leash. Felicia completely transformed our wild puppy! He is now a joy to take on walks, he’s not jumping on people and best of all NO MORE BITING! He now knows how to sit, stay, lay down, come and heel. What I love about Felicia’s training is she also helped me to learn how to handle Chief. She gave me such wise useful tips! She’s been a trainer for many years and it shows. I can’t thank her enough for all that she has done. She’s such a caring person and fun to work with! She goes above and beyond to make sure your dog succeeds and that you are happy with the results. I would highly recommend Felicia to everyone!

My 15 month old Bernedoodle had started to jump at and bark at other dogs and people on our walks, etc. and when entering our house. I signed up for the Advanced Training with CJ! He is great and really helped me understand why and how to set my dog up for success. It’s amazing the difference in the first few weeks. Her focus and ability to stay in control and relax has made her a better and happier dog! We are so excited for our next road trip! Working with K9 Concepts- CJ was well worth the investment!

CJ did a great job with our 2 y/o GSD. Dohji. We did the private lessons and CJ tailored it to our specific needs. He was also very responsive if we had questions between sessions. Our dog had never been socialized nor had obeyed basic commands and now Dohji is obedient and we can now enjoy taking him to places. We are also looking to get additional training for our other dog. We sent our dog Sam to the four week board and train with Isaac. From start to finish, Isaac was very communicative on everything regarding Sam's progress. Once he graduated, he kindly brought Sam home and showed us everything he had learned and how to complete all the commands. Atlas did the 30-day adult board and train program (starting when he was 8 months old). When he left he was very unruly and only knew how to sit. After working with Felicia, he came back knowing how to sit, down, come, place, heel, jump obstacles, walk on leash (even next to a stroller!), and more. She was a pleasure to work with and tailored the program to our needs for Atlas. She also managed to resolve some of his eating issues while working with him and taught him some basic manners like not jumping on new people. She kept us updated with periodic pictures and messages about his progress. She invited us to visit him throughout the program to work on his skills with him and see how he was doing. When he came home, we were a bit nervous about how well his training would transfer over to an environment where he had not used those skills, but he did incredibly well. We credit this to the excellent training and the practice session we had with him when we picked him up. The session informative and really taught us how to work with him. We had a two week follow up session with Felicia, and she advised us on tips to maintain his training and how to address some new behaviors we were having a bit of trouble with. The service was professional and well done. We would 100% recommend this program and Felicia as a trainer to anyone looking to train their dog in both on and off leash skills.

My husband and I rescued an abandoned and injured 4wk old puppy. We intended to nurse her to good health and then find her furever home. Taking care of my elderly parent full time, having a young child and even younger grandchildren in our home I didn’t feel the timing was right to keep the puppy as I don’t have the time to dedicate towards training her. However, our child fell in love with her and we welcomed her into our family. Due to our delicate family members and negative connotations towards her breed, we felt it is extremely important to have our puppy professionally trained. In the meantime, she was taught basic commands, yet over time she started to ignore them. I feel she became unpredictable because she ignored basic commands, she loved to play bite, liked to pounce on you or lunge at you, didn’t know how to turn off playing, was overly excited all the time and just wild acting, which led to her being crated more than I care to. Our little one grew scared of her due to being scratched from jumping and we knew it was time. During my research, I came across Quality K9 Concepts online and I remembered the owner was a former Police Officer where I live now, but I grew up in the city he started his company in and I have watched his company grow, grow and grow over 15 years. My husband is a Navy Veteran and with the owner being an Army Veteran and all the work him and his company do with Veterans, Quality K9 Concepts was the only option. Everything kept leading me back to QK9C.

Felicia was our K9 handler for Board and Training, and she is absolutely the BEST. Our experience has been amazing from start to.. I would say finish but there’s no end date, as she has made a life long friend in us. Before our start date, Felicia, allowed us to come to her home for a meet and greet and a tour of where she would be boarding and training our pup. A video update the day after the start date, immediate results! Over the 4wks Felicia was training our puppy, I received daily progress updates (some with photos and videos) and we met with Felicia a few times for hands on training. Felicia educated us on the stimulating collar, animal safety such as heat exposure, dog parks, and puppy paw pad safety (already knew, but) it’s refreshing to see and hear Felicia loves our canines enough to make sure we are informed. We really appreciated Felicia’s training wasn’t based from treats. Felicia’s love for dogs truly speaks for itself. I’m convinced she can speak to dogs, lol. What she was able to do in a matter of hours on the first day, I couldn’t do with months. Felicia’s personality is amazing, she’s a great listener and was able to train our puppy that is best suited for our family. We will furever be indebted to Felicia. Now, our puppy is involved with almost everything we do and no longer is crated. We plan on adding more pups to the family in the near future and plan on having Felicia board and train all of them! 10/10, I highly recommend Quality K9 Concepts and K9 Trainer Felicia.

We recently enrolled our 5-month old German Shepherd puppy, Ruger, in the Quality K9 Concepts board and train, and had the pleasure of working with Felicia the entire time. Felicia has an enormous amount of experience training dogs in several disciplines, and her approach and knowledge base was perfect for Ruger. She was able to take a very difficult puppy with no sense of self-control and a very bad biting habit and help him to become a VERY well mannered (slightly older) puppy who is great around our kids, follows a whole series of commands, is responsive, and just an all around great dog. The experience from start to finish has been fantastic, with being able to go out and see where he would be living, what his daily routine would consist of, and receiving regular updates from Felicia during his training. I can't say enough good things about Felicia and the board and train program. I could tell that Felicia genuinely cared about Ruger and formed a bond during their training and living together. Based on our experience, I can say that these are true professionals who come to the table with extension training and experience. The end product for what we paid is 100% worth it and I would highly recommend this company and Felicia to anyone who is thinking about a serious behavior modification program.
