I have been a customer there for 3 years. Today I was dropped as a client because I had to cancel our grooming appointment since I couldn't afford the $160 this month. They said they could only have clients that come in on a regular basis, even though we have an appointment next month and the month after that. I have never felt so embarrassed and shamed for my current financial situation. Shame on you Puppy Love!

Pet care seems to be pretty good and our 2 little dogs got a bath, which seems to have been thorough. The charges are high and there is some confusion with the staff as to how to charge. When we dropped off our dogs we were told since we were having bath services we had until 5pm to pick them up without paying for an extra day. When we picked them up the clerk was rude and snooty telling us no one had said that and we signed a contract to the opposite. $240 for 2 little dogs (8 & 12#) staying in the same cage and having a bath seemed to high for Friday morning to Sunday afternoon. Someone called the next day after we picked them up to acknowledge we had been told we wouldn't have to pay for the extra day, but the charges still stuck and the pickup girl was rude, pretty much calling me a liar. We will look for other places the next time.

Really went above and beyond for us on short notice when we were in a pinch and for minimal cost too. I didn’t see the kennels but it looked (and smelled) well kept and my pups were happy there. We will absolutely be back, with notice next time!

Kris has been grooming my dogs for 25 years. She and her helpers have done an excellent job, consistently. I would have to drive halfway across the county to get to puppy love but there's nowhere else I would rather take my dogs. I give puppy love a 5-star rating for 25 years of Excellence

Let me start off by saying the front desk was super friendy when called and went in! We called very last minute to get our dogs in on a Saturday afternoon and stay over night and to be picked up Sunday afternoon. So we are thankful for them getting us in! When we called the young gal said it would be $25 a day per dog and that the pups as long as we picked up between 4:00 and 4:30 Sunday. Perfect, we thought. We raced back from our trip to make their time of 4:30 and when we paid the gal she said it will be $100. Wait. What? You told us $25 per dog as long as we picked them up by 4:30? She said "oh you waited till after 12 noon to pick them up so it's an additional $25 per dog." Okay, their hours of operation on Sunday are 8:00-8:30 am and 4:00-4:30 pm. So if your not there by 8:30 am its an additional $25 per dog! Not saying its not in writing somewhere but we saw no signs and were 100% misled. But we were in a hurry so we may have missed something and we went by the gals word.
We will never be back to Puppy Love. You want an honest dog boarding place? Go to Pampered Pets outdide of Ignacio. She's open 24 hours a day and you can pick up and drop off whenever you want at your own convenience! You are only charged by the the nights your pet sleeps there. Even if you pick up at 11:00 at night your NOT charged for that night because your pet technicaly your pet did not stay over night. They also let your dogs play in a big pond. Oh, and your dogs are in like a 12 foot indoor/outdoor kennel and they can go in and out as they please!
IF, you need a groomer go see Stephanie at Valley Feed in Gem Village! She charges by the minute. So if grooming your animal only takes 53 minute she only charges you for 53 minutes and not an hour! She's amazing!
