Always great and friendly service at Pueblo West Kennels. I've boarded my dog here several times and I've never been disappointed. It's a family owned business and they always do their best to be available to their customers and go above and beyond.

Our dogs have always been well taken care of at Pueblo West Kennels. The owners are warm and welcoming. They went above and beyond with our 16 year old Chinook trying to figure out ways to get him to eat his food.

Very disappointed on the care given. Dogs bedding were covered in feces. Both dogs were extremely thirsty when they arrived home. Food was measured out for the week and at least half the food was still in container.

My in laws recently brought our dogs here for 2 nights. When they went to pick them up, the owners were not responsive and ignored their texts and calls. The dogs were outside in the summer heat for a long time. When we got them, our dogs were thin and desperate for water. One of our dogs' nose was torn up and red, and the other returned with a limp and couldn't walk down the stairs. Do not send your dogs here!

Great service! Tom and his grand kids were great to deal with. Was the first time my Australian shepherd has ever been in this environment and was super nervous. Every time I text to check on her they got back to me very quickly letting me know she was doing good. Thank yall so much!

BEWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE!!
We will NEVER take our dogs there again!! The images are deceiving, the kennels are like a animal shelter. They stay in the hard concrete kennel with tall chain linked fence for the entirety of their stay. Our boxer lost 10lbs in one week. We text them halfway through my vacation with no response yet when my daughter picked them up they mentioned that my boxer climbed the 6 foot fence trying to escape. We understand they are “appointment only”, which a pickup appointment was scheduled prior to dropping them off but when my daughter got there, they tried to tell her there was no appointment scheduled. We are sicken at the thought we left our pets in such hardened conditions. I wish I would have toured the facility prior to dropping them off, I never would have chosen this facility.

As a dog owner, I have a highly energetic pitbull that can sometimes be a challenge to manage. I realize that this is largely due to my lack of socialization efforts with other dogs. In the past, I have tried other boarding facilities, but unfortunately, upon picking up my dog, I noticed injuries such as bruising and blood due to "cage fighting." This made me feel like my dog was not well-liked and that the boarding staff were not fond of my pet.

When I decided to change kennel facilities I searched the internet for a new kennel for my dog and came across Pueblo West Boarding Kennels. The owners are incredibly friendly and understanding of pitbulls, having owned one themselves. My dog seems to enjoy staying there and I've never seen any signs of mistreatment upon picking him up. The owners and their family treat my pet with kindness and seem to genuinely like him. They always make sure to reassure me that my dog is welcome at their facility.

First time boarding our 2 big babies their and they loved it! We were so scared of leaving them how we normally take them with us but this place is 100% amazing. They let me know how they were doing when I asked. Best part is that the family lives on site so if something is wrong or the dogs need something they are right there to take care of them. Makes me feel 1000x better knowing they are never alone. They took great care of our babies and will definitely come back again!!
