We are extremely disappointed in the results from Posh Pet Salon. We brought in our maltipoo for a grooming cut and were really excited to see a transformation. We did extensive research on styling maltipoo puppies for several weeks and we prepared a list of specifications that we thought would look good for her and even found sample photos of other dogs with a similar cut. When we came to the shop, the groomer did not give much attention to what we were asking, so we texted her a sample photo and the list like she had asked. We hoped that if she did not have much time to hear us because she was busy, that she would at least look at the list while she worked on our puppy.
We heard that grooming and bathing this size dog usually takes an hour and a half to two hours, but she had finished in less than an hour which was concerning. We paid $60 for the service but the result was very disappointing. She did not follow our specifications at all. For example, we asked her not to touch the tail because we liked how it looked but she had chopped off the end quite noticeably. Also the photo that we showed her kept the hair around the neck fairly long but she had shaved that and the whole body very short. Our puppy looks completely different and the cut seems very crudely done with just a shaver instead of with scissors.

The shop owner responded to my post quickly. She wrote she didn't remember the customer (us!) who visited her shop very same day. I checked Yelp for this pet salon and found some customer complaints. I understand that there always are some unsatisfied customers to any business, but what I want to point out is that the owner responded to the unsatisfied customers with all kinds of excuses but no apologies.
