Point and Howl Dog Training -

Working with Ella for my GSP Macchiato has been amazing! Her expertise and understanding of dog behavior and training were clear from our first conversation, and I could not be more impressed with her knowledge and communication while our pup was with her. She really engages with the dogs and works to understand them on a whole new level to make sure she finds the best path for success for each individual dog. Ella provided thorough updates (and plenty of pictures!) while Macchiato was with her for boarding and training, and we are so happy with the progress she has experienced after being with Ella. She has been great about following and checking in with us since then, and we are so happy to have been able to work with her and to continue to do so! I can not recommend Ella enough!

Sending my dog to Ella was the best thing I could have done for Billie’s and my own quality of life! I have a one year old GSP that I take to work with me every day and she is a wild child that just needed a foundation of training and structure to build off of. Ella, right off the bat, had amazing knowledge and you could tell that she really was going to do whatever was best for the dog. We had consultations and lots of discussions before deciding what the best plan of action for what I was looking to accomplish with my dog. My expectations were exceeded by the first check in lesson and I am so happy with my choice to send her to Ella. You will not be disappointed!! The communication and direction after the training has been so helpful and I could not recommend Ella enough!!

If I could give 10 stars I would! I have been working with Ella since March. I have a 3 yo Aus. Cattle dog mix that has had some fear of people which leads to aggression and it lead to a bite ?terrified, I had to take action. I am so happy I found Point and Howl He is making incredible improvements!! He’s a different dog! Ella is teaching me how to communicate properly and clearly, so that my dog builds confidence in himself! I went from being really frustrated and not knowing what to do, to now I am understanding how to communicate with him and I am able to bring him around people and have guest over without anxiety and tension. It’s so important to do the work. My dog is worth it! And your dog is worth it!! Best decision I’ve made for my canine.

Just got our pup back yesterday and wow, wow, wow!!!! We had seen the changes throughout the training, but it wasn't until his first night back home that we truly noticed how he is. It was incredible to see him think through the challenges he faces before just reacting. Ella did an amazing job with him and provided so many resources to help us through this continued journey. BEST DECISION EVER! I first reached out to Ella at the beginning of this year regarding my dog Percy. I have two miniature dachshunds who have always gotten along and loved each other until his behavior switched. He eventually attacked his sister twice. I was at lost for words and felt like the worst dog mom ever. I contacted her right after the second time and set up a consultation. She gave me advice on what to do until we meet for my little guy. Our consultation went great! I learned so much that I hired her to help me with not only him but also really with me too and how I react to his behavior. Percy has grown so much and we figured out what was causing his switch in behavior. Ella is very knowledgeable in her field and gives you confidence in yourself on how to work with your dog. Training with Ella has been a wonderful and much needed experience. I have a very energetic great dane and although he is like any other loveable dog, it is compounded by the fact that he is 130 lbs. of muscle. If you have a large breed then professional training and behavior assessment is a must. Ella trains you more than your fur pup on how to build a strong foundation of communication and proper etiquette with your fur child. I could go on in very long detail about the eye opening experience but will just say please spend the money and seek Ella's consultation. If you love your fur pup and want the best for them and yourself. You cannot go wrong. 5 stars all the way for her training and customer service. Education, communication and teaching process. Ella is a dedicated and knowledgeable trainer with a big heart for the dogs and people she works with! She has been a frequent source of knowledge, resources, and cheerleading for me which are all so important when you’re trying to work with your pups! Your time and money are well spent with Ella as your trainer :)
