Delilah has been going to doggy daycare and boarding since she was 12 weeks old, she just turned 5. We’ve also done both on and off leash training through Pitt County K9 academy, and truly I would not be able to handle my 90 pound German Sheppard without yall! She always has the best time and she is always well taken care of. Thank yall for taking such good care of my girl when I’m away, I don’t trust her with anyone else!!!

We adopted a 4 year old Chihuahua mix that was a stray for quite some time. He was picked up by a rescue in very rough shape. We've had Leonard for almost eleven months and knew we needed some professional help. He came to us with some serious trust issues, and fearful aggression. Some of the local boarding and day care facilities don't offer training or boarding for aggressive dogs, which is understandable if the staff is not trained for this. We were so happy when we discovered Pitt County K9 Academy's board and train program. We enrolled him with Vincent as his trainer. All the staff worked with Leonard each day to ease him into being picked up and held, which was something we were unable to do. They also let him experience being around other dogs playing, and testing out his aggression with food and toys. This exposure and training was the best thing we could have done, especially with our daughter's dog also enrolled in the training program. Given Leonard's history we were not comfortable trying to introduce the two dogs without professional help. Vincent and all the other trainers made it happen safely and successfully. Leonard and Sparky had a very smooth initial meet and greet at our home and spent two days together. This was a big win for us! We appreciate all the help from Vincent and K9 Academy training. We're especially grateful that Leonard has a place to attend day care and boarding when needed and most importantly he doesn't have to be in isolation. We highly recommend Pitt County K9 Academy for day care, boarding, grooming, and especially the board and train program!

We did the board and train for our dog. She had a great time with the staff and also with trainer Vince. They all took care of her while also helping her to gain more confidence in her social skills. She will be going back! We are very happy with the service provided.

My dogs first boarding experience was here. They were great and very helpful for me. I did find it weird that I couldn't go in and see the place for myself. They did send updates nightly, but only one picture was sent and it was used for multiple days. Price was fair. Staff was nice. My dogs didn't seem off when I got them back. The facility is very industrial like. I would use them again if I had to.

Love K9 academy! They have groomed Teddy since he was a puppy and I wouldn’t want to take him anywhere else. He is so comfortable and loves going in. Lauren does an amazing job and the front staff is always so friendly and helpful! I have never used the boarding facilities so can’t comment on them, but would recommend the grooming to anyone!

First week went great! So far I’ve met Belle and Vincent and I’m very impressed by their professionalism, knowledge and they are so polite. It took some trust as they don’t let you go in, which as a retired vet tech I can totally understand, but they are out to meet you in seconds and I could tell by his reaction on the second visit that Benji was very happy to go back! My puppy came home clean, tired and happy. I would have known by day 2 if it had been anything other than a great experience for him. I only wish they would go back to having daycare at the Firetower location which is right around the corner from me. Looking forward to continuing to bring Benji a few times a week and feel if I ever needed to leave him overnight or for a few days in an emergency I could do so with total peace of mind, which is huge as my dogs have always been like children to me and I don’t trust their care to just anybody.

I highly recommend Pitt County K9 Academy Boarding and Grooming. I have used both services and they are very professional, great communication, reasonable prices, and compassionate for what they do. I trust them taking care of our two Aussies and chocolate lab pup. I started using their mobile grooming which I highly recommend!!

Pitt County K9 Academy is wonderful! We take our two miniature dachshunds for grooming, and we all love going to see Logan and the front desk crew. I especially love the oatmeal shampoo option as one of my girls has sensitive skin. Making appointments is super easy, and communication is wonderful. I get a text notification when the pups are done and ready for pick-up which is so nice! The girls always look so pretty and smell so good when they’re picked up. They usually have bandanas or bows which is such a sweet touch for their spa days! We always look forward to our doggy spa trips, and we (me and the pups) highly recommend this grooming facility!
