I've had my horses at Pinecrest for about 15 years now. This facility is great in so many ways! The pens are spacious and kept VERY clean. They are also nice and safe, and even my Houdini horse can't manage to open the gate. (He has been known to open many other gates over the years, but he can't get this one!) Pinecrest is located close to numerous trails, and the setting is just beautiful. It's also very close to both Colorado Springs and Woodland Park, with easy access. It only takes me a few minutes to get there to visit my horses. There is an indoor arena that is wonderful, especially in inclement weather. But perhaps best of all, the stable manager (Cindy) is amazing. She treats all the horses as well as if they were her own. She is quick to let me know if one of my horses is acting strangely, seems ill, or has an injury. Her quick reaction has likely saved the life of my "old man," who colicked a few years back. He is still with us today and thriving at Pinecrest, despite being over 30 years old. He's receiving the very best care and I rest easy knowing that Cindy is watching him when I can't be there. I would recommend Pinecrest to anyone looking for a good boarding facility close to the Colorado Springs area.

I've boarded my horse at Pinecrest for 11 years now, and he's very happy there. Cindy feeds three times a day, gives my boy his supplements, and lets me know if she notices anything concerning, which is a great comfort. She sets up semi-annual vaccine clinics for us and listens to what the vet says so that she can make sure she gives our horses the best possible care. My horse is in a spacious pen with a loafing shed, with only one other horse, and he has constant access to water from the creek running through the property. Cindy works her tush off keeping the pens as clean as possible. There's also a barn with stalls, which is attached to a covered arena, as well as the other usual amenities.

I've boarded at two other places and visited a couple more, and Cindy goes above and beyond what others do. I couldn't be happier!

She is a realtor in Virginia and there is a Pinecrest Stables in Virginia. I believe the review was meant for the Stables in Virginia.

Terrible. I would never board my horses at this place. It’s so muddy. The spaces are very small. The horse sheds are falling apart. The poor horses are just standing and so sad. Really sad!!!

Totally dedicated to the healthy, happiness and well being of her boarded horses. Cindy has decades of experience, treats each equine, like they were her own!! Feeds good pellets and good hay. 3xs a day!! Turn out, trails, mountains and streams!! what more could a boarder as for
