Staff there are very patient, professional and knowledgeable.

My pup is very anxious about new places and people, but the crew have spent so much effort on building relationships with him. It’s encouraging to see how much he’s enjoying his time there and how much he’s more confident around other people and dogs 🫶🏻!

So happy we made the decision to have our rescue puppy work with Elissa and Lynde at Pinecone! They helped build his confidence and he made good progress in the Puppy Fundamentals program there. Their huge indoor and outdoor spaces are amazing and our fearful rescue pup had a really great time with all the enrichment activities. I highly recommend them for anyone looking for positive, healthy, and fun training. They are the BEST!

I can not give them enough praise! Our mill dog rescue was terrified of men, and didn't even know how to be a puppy, but after 4 weeks at Pinecone Pups, not only was his confidence increasing, but I could actually pet him! The staff is incredible, compassionate, patient, and knowledgeable. Their techniques are gentle and the dogs get to go at their own pace. They have an awesome outdoor space that encourages confidence building and play, and my dog was so excited to go to school every day!! Thank you so much!!!

Okay, when we heard "Montessori school for dogs," we laughed. Loudly. But the more we thought about it, the more intrigued we were. It's not doggie day care where they just shove the pups in a room, supervised or not, and let them just exist until you come get them. We tried that, and our dog *hated* it. Pinecone actually trains your dog, works with your dog, and enriches them. They keep the same social groups (like a school) for the dogs on the same day each week, they get a variety of experiences, training, and scenarios. Our dog is a proper pandemic dog, so she had zero social skills with other dogs. The staff (who are wonderful) worked with her slowly getting her used to other dogs and playing with them. After about 2 months, our dog is excited for school days, plays with other dogs in large groups, and learned recall better than we were ever able to train her. It's not "daycare" it's "preschool," and it's incredible. Every good dog should have this experience.

What an excellent experience for my dog. He was already a great dog, and Pinecone Pups is making him a total rockstar dog!! Love all the natural outdoor space that he gets to play in as as well as all the awesome intentional attention and high level training he gets.
