High praise for this Pets Hotel. First, the good, these are dog people! They love the animals like they are their own even if they are only staying one day. I always get extra perks and love receiving the photos of my dog receiving private story time. Also, one play session, my dog had a seizure and I sincerely appreciated the care and attention the staff showed our dog and us. They are trustworthy and good! My one critique is that sometimes PetSmart fills the hotel to capacity and when they are heavily busy or understaffed, my dog has not received the perks I scheduled. But I’m not charged when that happens, just a little disappointed that my dog didn’t have a premium experience. But all in all, I feel confident taking my dog here and I am happy that this service is available.

How do I start... I like to keep my reviews short and simple so I'll try my best. I'm just going to say never again. We left our dog here and even at the beginning to check him in was a struggle. We added the training sessions for the length of his stay and the trainer never showed up none of the days, we weren't notified of this. Upon picking him up we asked why we weren't notified and all they said that they don't work with the trainers so they don't know why no trainer showed up and any other questions we had they'll answer with "the girl that helped you is not here today". My question was "If you don't work with the trainers, why are you offering this service when checking in?" At the end I was happy to get him out of there.

My family has been taking our dogs here for quite some time and I now take my own dogs. I have a Pitbull and a Doberman Pinscher who are big lovers but our pit gets pretty anxious when we leave. The last two times we've taken him in I can tell the staff gave him so much extra love and I was worry free on our vacation. The staff also has experience with big dogs which made me feel so comfortable leaving them knowing that they'd be handled correctly. Couldn't recommend this PetsHotel more!
If you have 2 dogs and one is a Pit they do not allow the dogs to be in the same suite due to store policy but they can have play time together!

Thank you for taking care of our dogs on such a short notice! Unlike the fru-fru pet “resorts” and “camps” the PetsHotel is fairly priced and doesn’t require a dumb interview or a daycare session to make sure that your dog can stay there. The employees were all super nice and you could tell they cared about their jobs. We originally booked here in a last minute pinch and we’ll probably be returning for all our other boarding needs!

I've never boarded my cats before and was very nervous about leaving my beloved pets in the hands of strangers. Candi, the PetsHotel manager, eased my fears from the very moment I arrived. She was friendly, efficient and painstakingly thorough to make sure that everything went smoothly during my cats' stay. I was very happy to pick them up, but thanks to the fine folks at this PetsHotel, I wasn't too anxious while they were being boarded.

My experience with Pets Hotel Orland Hills was utterly most pleasant to say the least. The entire staff welcomed my lovely wife,my little boy Duchie/Capote Myself with warm smiles and kind attitudes Best place to leave your fur babies overnight hands down. We absolutely love this astablishmentt.

I visited this store last week to make preparations for my dog to stay at the hotel but when I returned on Monday to register my dog I learned of the vaccines that are needed prior to boarding. My dog has vaccinations up to date. If I was told of the additional needed vaccinations last week- I could have planned appropriately instead of being told at the last minute that my dog will need other shots to take place 48 hrs prior to me boarding my pet there and my flight leaves 48 hrs later (Wednesday). Even on the website its not mentioned of the necessary requirements for boarding. I felt this was such a waste of my time. While I have enjoyed Petsmart as a grooming salon for the last 8 yrs-this kinda put me in a bind especially at the last minute. Only help I did received was a referral to a pet Hospital that doesn't take new patients - which wasn't Banfield that is in the store. I won't use them anymore for any other services.

Love this place, they take such good care of our pup. Nail trimming can be hit or miss but my dog always comes home happy and the staff is just great!
