Unfortunately, I have to write this bad review after being a client for over 17 years. I have purebred show dogs and they have been groomed by the same employee for year's as this person knows the breed and knows how to groom them. No bones to pick with the employee. It was the new OWNER.
Apparently the NEW owner told the “bather boy“ to take care of my dog despite that the only employee for 17 years + has groomed my show dogs. THIS was a SERIOUS PROBLEM AS My dog came back butchered! This is a spitz breed that carries a lot of coat and HUGE ruff which was mutilated to almost nothing but 2 inches!! My poor dog looks awful and looks like a starving coyote!! Plus, I have been charged almost double since the new owner took over and also charged me credit card fees in excess of $5 per dog.
IF YOU HAVE SHOW DOGS, DO NOT GO TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT. They don’t known how to groom show dogs they are just clipper hacks that charge way to much money to butcher your dog!!

Below are photos of what my dog should look like in full coat, and what the dog looked like after I picked up my dog, which is naked. I can’t even show my dog for at least 6 months due to the hair being pulled out. The regular groomer, Miguel has always groomed my dog but for some reason the new owner let a totally untrained rookie hack and wanna be groomer pull out all my dog’s hair for a bath and blow dry only!! UNBELIEVABLY PISSED OFF!!

Finally a groomer I can trust with my Pomeranian. Miguel did an outstanding job. He now looks like a lushious Pokemon or like something out of a dream. And so soft! The team was listening to my concerns emphatically and clocked it immediately.
Definitely will return.

This place is great!!! <3 I adopted my little Spencer during the pandemic and he didn’t get the proper socialization and training that he needed as a puppy. I tried bringing him to other daycare recently, and this was the only place where he felt really comfortable. They started him off in daycare slowly with just another dog and then when he was comfortable and realized it was a fun place to be, he became friends with a few more dogs. All of a sudden he opened up and his real personality started to shine through finally! Now he is socially accepted, carefree, and loving every bit of life to the fullest:) If you need a place where they really focus on your pet's individual needs, this is the place. They spent a significant amount of time with us to really understand what we need and now I feel like Spence is a whole new dog. And on top of it all, he had a full pedicure because before nobody was able to do his nails since he had trust issues, but now he loves to be pampered.

Have gone to Encino location for years. Moved to sawtelle in sept and just glad i can continue taking ezra to petrock at this location on the west side. Theyve been good. Never had an issue. My dog always seems happy there. Thanks for everything petrock.

my old english sheepdog has gone here for a wash and cut. I have been very happy with the grooming and they give you a little report card on how your dog did and if they may need something extra like teeth cleaning. I highly recommend them.
