This local pet shop is truly a gem! The owner is caring and kind, always going above and beyond to take care of both clients and the pets that visit. They have a huge heart for animals, which is clear from the warm atmosphere and excellent service.

We only buy food for our pets from this store because we trust the quality. They frequently offer discounts to ensure customers get the best value, which is so appreciated. Plus, they host rescue events with a local rescue organization, which really highlights their passion for animal welfare. We also adopted our pup from here and the process was seamless, and our pup is wonderful!

Pet Wants Arvada is AMAZING!! I talked with them about what pet food to help our new fur baby gain weight and learned that they make their own pet food!! Not only helped our Frankie gain weight but helped digest properly 🙂 I love the high quality ingredients!
I love how they also support local, women owed companies. As well as being one as well 🙂
Sharon was so nice and welcoming when I went in. & Sarah was soooo helpful in guiding me for everything I needed and wanted information on! I highly recommend stopping by. I know I will continue to go there! Frankie approves 🙂

Really nice and knowledgeable folks. Their "bark-cuterie" board with deals on dog chews is super cute as well (and a good deal!). In addition to their dog and cat stock, they also hold adoption events and have connections to local trainers that work out of their facility as well. A wonderful part of the Arvada community! From the day I walked into Pet Wants my dog has been happier and healthier than she has ever been before. The day I brought home the sample of the Pet Want food she refused to eat any of her food but jumped on top of my desk and ate right through the bag. The kibble worked wonders on his sensitive stomach and dry skin. Every time I walk in, there is a new toy, treat, food topper, leash or bandana that I just have to have.
The owner, Sharon is one of the kindest, knowledgeable, caring person I could ever meet and knowing how much she cares about pups makes me know that it’s stuff I can trust.

Pet Wants has been a game changer for my dog! My pup used to get bored of food quickly and did not have interest in the treats and chews we gave her before. Now, she eats her food with excitement and absolutely loves getting her beef cheek stick and her chicken feet treats. On top of her happiness, I have noticed that she no longer has dry skin since I switched her to the Pet Wants food and started to add Ultra Oil as well.
I so highly recommend Pet Wants for your pups!

This is the only place we'll go to get our dog healthy and delicious food! Not only are they super sweet and knowledgeable but they also take the time to get to know you and your pets. My dog will tear up anything so we always get the buffalo horns and our dog LOVES the dried salmon and mussels. We also get amazing collars, leashes and accessories here! I can't say enough how much we love and recommend Pet Wants for anything you may need for a pet❤️‍🔥

My dog and cat cannot get enough of this place! The treat selection they have is healthy, budget friendly, and the variety is great (I have some picky eaters in my house)! They allow you to bring your dogs in to sniff out all of the treats they want which is a fun experience and the people working there are always super nice and knowledgeable. If you haven’t been here you should!

This place is awesome! The owner Sharon is very knowledgeable of all the needs of pups. The store has a great selection of dog treats and accessories. They even make their own dog food line which has super clean ingredients and is affordable. Would 10/10 recommend for all the pups needs and wants 🙂
