Inaccurate pricing

Bought a bag of dog food which the label stated cost $76.95 and was on sale for $66.95.

When items were rang up, item scanned for $69.95. I let cashier know and he went to the aisle and confirmed the $66.95 price. I had a $5 rewards coupon to be used which would've brought the price to $61.95.

When he called another guy over ( assuming it was the manager) the guy did not listen correctly to the situation and went ahead and input a code and made the price go down to $64.95 and with tax it came out to $70 and change. And proceeded to mainsplain the incorrect receipt to me and shoo me off.

As I "shoo'd" off, I checked the receipt and saw the incorrect transaction which one of the employees came over and asked if everything was ok and I told her he didn't do it right.

Now I'm the one looking like I'm begging for $3 back when this should've been marked correctly to begin with...

And to be given attitude and shood off with an incorrect transaction that everyone understood except for this guy with longer hair making the decisions, is not appropriate customer service..

As I've said previously due to previous experiences HERE, if you don't fit the demographic here, good luck being treated with respect.

What we have observed:
-Prices are high for some things like carriers or shampoo. You're going to pay up to double the price of other places but you wouldn't know unless you do your homework. We've paid more in a pinch, but you do what you have to do. -Prices are competitive for pet food. A few dollars higher than other local small stores.
-They have a wide selection of food for dogs.
-I'd like to see a better selection of grooming tools.
-The dog wash is clean, but there should be a sign with etiquette in the dog wash area. We have been, and people just throw their used towels down. There is a basket for used towels!
-We've also seen dog pee on the floor while going to shop. People, if your dog pees, tell someone or ask for something to clean it up with! Most stores have paper towels and cleaning spray available for accidents. Take your dog to handle it's business before you go in.
-MOST of the staff are friendly.

Love love love coming here. The shop is always stocked and the staff is so friendly and welcoming. They will answer questions and go out of their way to provide the best customer service.

Staff is always friendly and very helpful- they know their stuff. The store is always clean and they have a cute photo-op area for different holidays. It’s a privately-owned business, and the pride of ownership is clear.

This place is very rude and unprofessional. They watch you like you're going to steal something , mostly cheap china made goods , as if . They always seem to be judging when you check out . Kind of like that attitude out here in yorba Linda back in the mid 90s when most of the people out here had their noses stuck up in the air as if they were better than everyone else . I find it kind of funny how every post is 5 star and the few that aren't theirs always some excuse why it's not the stores fault . Ever heard of the customer is always right . Within reason obviously . I wouldn't spend my money in this store personally or ever go back . Theirs better friendlier and better places with lowere prices around . And I also think it's quite rude to not allow someone to use the wash station because someone has an appointment but is already 20 min late and all 3 stations were open . Should be first come first serve if the appointments are a no show after 5 min late . They don't know how to run a business properly in this place . And just my opinion but can you say paid for reviews . Other then a few bad ones to make it look ligit . Don't waste your time in this place . I would give it a negative star review if possible .

Found this spot word of mouth when I was at the dog park! Let me tell ya… I’ll be driving all the way from Orange to come here for all my dog needs! The staff are unbelievably kind and helpful. The dog washing station is AMAZING! The prices are great and they have various items on sale. The selection of all things pets is huge! I have to give a MAJOR shoutout to Lorrie with the grooming team for being to patient, kinda, and gentle with my fearful pup. Thanks Lorrie!

Wish I came here sooner! I have an 80lb husky that I’ve been bathing at home forever. As everyone knows huskies have A LOT of fur. Every time I give her a bath it takes forever, hair goes everywhere, I end up wet and in the bathtub, and the next day my back is sore from bending over for 30 minutes strait. For $8(5 baths for $40) using the self wash area has been life changing. It’s raised which is easier on the back, you get an apron so you don’t get wet, they provide all the shampoo/conditioner/towels you need, and have an air dryer to make the drying process sooo much faster. The cherry on top for my dog is I can buy her a treat on the way out 🙂. If you do want to use the self wash definitely call ahead and make an appointment and like stated above you can also buy a discount card and get 5 washes for $40 instead of the normal rate of $14.
