The young guy had red hair and I showed him a chewed up dog bone and asked if he carried them and he said yes, aisle four. So I perused aisle four for a much longer than I should have and the young man never stood from his chair at the cash register.I said I can’t find it and without getting up he said “oh sorry” as he stretched and yawned said “we might be out of stock. We have another store on Coit”. And that was it; he started ringing up the next customer. Really? Just shipped them off to another store rather than look on aisle four to see if you can find it. That is not a very motivated employee. Just pathetic really. No one is ever in the store so I can’t figure out how you’re even staying in business. You might consider closing this location. The energy in there is dead and the employee in there is practically dead.

After 8 years of shopping here, I will never go back to this particular store
I walked in at 6 pm , 3 young men at cashier counter talking 1 of them asked if I needed help, , I walked over to get my dog food , which they were out of (2 nd time this week going there for it ) and when I asked a question about a different brand he looked at me and said “well which one are you talking about?…. My comment back was instead of standing there and y’all talking. I need some help over here. His response was with a look of discontent ,was “ hey wait a minute “ my comment back was I’m not gonna continue to yell across the store for help and his response back to me was well there. Isn’t anybody in here. After working a full day ,exhausted ,didn’t realize I was out of dog food and trying to get back home in time for dinner ,that was the last thing I needed was with some young person with a nasty attitude in Customer Service, like I was bothering him …Everyone has always been so nice there. This is the first time I’ve ever had a situation like this happen. Just make sure it’s not to make the employees go out of their way for you.

My favorite place.to go fishing. They have the best Cichlid collection in North Dallas. I love the manager at this location too!!

Edit: I would hate to do it but I have lowered my stars from 5 to 1. This place should fire the manager. The ciclid fish are decaying, water quality is beyond horrible. The last manager was on top of it all and made it a lovely place to buy fish. I was so displeased I will no longer support this store.

hours are 9am-9pm and by 9:30 am they have not opened their doors on a friday, there's staff inside. terrible location

Just stopped in to get some freeze dried dog food. They’re sold out. I asked for a rain check for the food. The assistant mgr refused to write me a rain check. He knows he can and admitted he could, but told me he refuses to do so. I left without buying anything. I won’t go back to this brand until they fix this process. It’s embarrassing they won’t work with the customer. Going to the competitor now.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. I take my dogs there to give them baths. The self service dog bath area is very convenient and well stocked with shampoos, conditioners, air dryers, and towels.

So, I went in to the 14092 Preston Rd store in N. Dallas, looking for some cat food for my cats. We’ve rescued a LOT!! I met Emily there, a very pleasant and professional staff member, and asked her about a better brand of food for my cats.
Well, Emily is so knowledgeable, she even remembered me from my last visit!
She even remembered the type of food my cats like!!
After talking to Emily, I bought a large bags of the store brand, Mittins, AND, 4 large cans of their turkey and cheese bits for my cats!!
I was very happy to learn from Emily that the Pet Supply brand, Mittins, is actually better than the famous brand I was buying AND, ITS CHEAPER!!
Way to go Emily!! Not only did you represent your store well but, you made a Mittins buyer out of me!!!
To the management of the Preston Store: Emily, if not in a leadership position, needs to be!! If in a leadership position, needs to be in the next higher position!!
As a former combat veteran AND, Staff Sergeant AND, small business owner, I know leaders when I see them!!
Emily is not only a leader, she is a good one!!

Great prices and service with very helpful folks working there. They have limited ingredient pet for that has changed my dogs life. Wonderful treats that are often shared for free, so much dog fun. They work with local Rescue Organizations and give back to the community.
