I frequent the Hickory location often, but last few times I have been in, I've been concerned for the well-being of a few of the animals, especially the ferrets. There is caked feces outside of the cage that customers are walking through as well as feces along with standing urine in their sleeping quarters that appear to have been there for quite some time. Some of the shelving in their enclosure has fallen to the bottom. It's a sad sight to see. No real enrichment for them other than each other and a hammock to keep off of the mess.

Recently visited and was very disappointed at the lack of care and husbandry with the reptiles. Many of the reptiles had no water in their bowls, stuck shed, no proper hiding spots or proper humidity to promote healthy shedding. I would not purchase reptiles here out of fear of their health being in decline. Please do better! The animals deserve better.

Glad I gave them another visit today. The new manager has the store looking so great and well stocked! Super friendly staff! So happy to see all the animals moving around and well taken care of under the new management they have now!

I went into PetSupplies plus in hickory today and I have to say I really enjoyed the experience. I just went in for some dog food and a couple treats but just the little bit of time I spent in there was wonderful. Especially the live animals. The new store manager was a huge help. I don’t remember her name but I’ll never forget her hair!! Thank you so much!

Wonderful experience today at this pet store located on Highway 127! It is under new management (lady by the name is Sequoia) She was extremely pleasant and helpful, Even going to the extent of answering a question in great depth. Excellent service!

Got a green cheek conure from here last week. a very healthy and friendly little fella! The girl that helped me (I apologize I'm bad with names) had a bird in her hair when I got there after we spoke on the phone. She helped me get everything I needed and was really smart and knowledgeable about conures. Her and June were awesome. I really like this store.

Went in to get supplies and crickets after our leopard gecko went missing for 5 months and met the new store manager. She was amazing and helpful. 10/10 experience.

Pet supply is the only store I use for my dog and cat supplies. Employees are always welcoming and polite. They have a wide variety of brands and they are always full of cookies and pastries for my dog! Will always recommend. Robert was the cashier on duty and he was wonderful!
