This is my go to pet supply store, personally I think it’s overall better than specks. I do feel like in the last year or so customer service is hit or miss. Regardless it’s a much better location than the Whitestown location.

I drove farther to try their self-service dog wash instead of my local petco. Well, Im glad I did. Their staff was very friendly. It was near to closing time, but they still welcomed Us in with a smile. All the wash stations were clean and well maintained. They also provide all the supplies and their prices were better than petco. Win!

Awesome staff. Worked with Nathan who was great and took time answering questions and being helpful. Worked with another employee- maybe the pet specialist? And she was super great. She was so kind with our hamster we bought and provided very useful info months before evening getting our new little guy! Glad to see such supportive staff who seem to really care about their work and the animals. We will definitely be back!

This is my go-to spot for my little creatures' needs. They have the food, they have the litter, they have the toys.... they got everything i could need for my little guys. I also enjoy the deals and rewards and other things that I get when I go into the store. One thousand stars 🌟

Our experience with this establishment has been horrible, and somehow, it only gets worse with each visit. We’ve finally reached our limit. It’s especially disappointing because this has been the only establishment that we’ve decided to spend our money on since we got our boxer puppy back in November.

The staff is amazing when it comes to retail services, but when it comes to grooming services - Absolutely terrible.

In November, the first time we brought our puppy in (she was 3 months old at the time), it was only for a nail trim (we had done everything else at home). The experience then was absolutely fantastic—the groomer (who is no longer there) was kind, helpful, and informative. Unfortunately, it’s been downhill ever since.

In January, we scheduled a full-service grooming appointment ($60 worth) over the phone a week in advance since their website was down. We asked several questions to determine the best package for our 5-month-old puppy (at the time) and were told that, because she’s considered a large breed, we had to get their most expensive package. Although disappointed, and feeling like it was a rip-off, we went along with it without any complaints.

Fast forward to the day of the appointment (scheduled for 12 PM)—ONLY when we arrived did they inform us that they couldn't fulfill the service we were scheduled for because we were given incorrect information. Apparently, the groomer scheduled for that day could only do nail trims…eye-roll. However, to their credit, the manager was very apologetic and offered us a 50% discount on a nail trim service, and also allowed us to use the self-wash station free of charge. Because of this, we decided to give them ANOTHER chance.

For our latest appointment (today), we specifically requested a groomer who could complete the full service to try to avoid a mishap like the last visit - Anabelle was suggested. Unfortunately, the experience was just as bad, if not worse. Although her attitude was nice, she did a half-hearted job. In the end, out of all the services listed in the package, the only things we actually received were:
>>>A bath - which our dog still smells - and;
>>>Teeth cleaning
No nail trim or ear cleaning (just to name a couple).

After three strikes, we’re officially done. We pay good money for professional grooming, only to be met with unprofessionalism and disappointment.

Incredibly weird experience here. One teen employee ignored me the entire time I was in the store (I was there a while buying puppy supplies). When I went to check out he finally acknowledged me, but then a different teenage employee jumped in front of me at the cash register and started dusting. She told me I couldn't check out because she had to dust and no one has ever dusted there before. I asked if I just needed to go to Specks since it's across the street (and much better) and they ignored me. Eventually he checked me out at a different register, but I won't be back and I wouldn't recommend it. Really sad because I usually choose this chain over any others.

When the store initially opened up, it was awesome! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, the animals for sale appeared healthy and their cases clean.
This has steadily declined. 2 of the pictures attached are a snake I bought for the sake of rescuing it from that store. It had stuck shed and eye caps, wouldn't use it's hide (sign of stress), was underweight and not eating. I asked to speak with the manager about it and instead, the manager sent the sales associate back to me saying, 'I'll take 25% off if you want to buy it.'
The first photo attached is a snake there now. I thought the poor thing was dead. It has stuck shed & eyecaps, dehydrated, under fed and underweight. Snakes are not difficult to care for, this is unacceptable.

Just curious if the store closes at 6pm or 5:55? Myself and another person walked up at the same time for the guy cleaning the windows to mouth "we're closed". Fine, I was the asshole to get there a few min before close. But an older gentleman walked up after I got back to my truck (so even closer to 6) just for a lady to let him in and get what he needed. I needed a bag of dog food, that's it.
