Peace of Heaven is so much more than pet boarding. They treat your dogs just like their own. They are loved on, played with, and treated like royalty. They ask all the right questions to make sure your dog is fed correctly and exercised well. I swear our two dogs were there 10 days and I think they were on vacation too. Bernie’s operation is top notch and well worth the money for the peace of mind it brings. The pictures and posts he sends during the week means so much in letting you know your “kids” are well taken care of.

Cant say enough how much I loved this place! And my dogs too! Neither of my dogs have ever been boarded before but I'm pretty sure they loved it! My oldest dog didn't want to get in the car when I picked them up! Lol! They seriously treat all the dogs like they are their own, and I loved the updates and pictures while I was on vacation. Made me not worry that my dogs were in good hands! Will definitely be visiting again! Thank you for going above and beyond for my 1st timers!

We are so happy to have found Peace of Heaven. We boarded our little Aussie pups for the first time. Bernie showed us the facility and it is so well thought out. This is not your typical boarding facility. We got pictures daily/updates and were able to see how much our pups were being loved and played with while we were away. They got lots of love and playtime from both the owners and other dogs.

One of our Aussies was nervous about joining the full group during doggy day care. Bernie gave him tons of one on one attention and helped him slowly integrate into playing with other dogs. Both pups made great strides in socialization with the extra care taken by the owners.

This is the only place we will ever bring our pups as they were clearly happy here and, despite then having a little separation anxiety, they were not in a rush to leave.

I recommend this place to everyone and anyone! Bernie was phenomenal from first contact as well as through the entire boarding stay for my pup. I was anxious about leaving Lily because she is initially reactive and trust is a big deal for her. After the meet and greet, Bernie decided to take on Lily because he was confident that she would come around and trust him. Within 2 hours of the actual boarding stay, that's exactly what Bernie accomplished with her! He kept me updated and sent awesome photos of how she spent her days exercised, cared for and loved on. Other than their built bond, the Peace of Heaven facility is so clean and kept up with! Their availability for drop-off and pick-up accommodates that fits all kinds of schedules. If you're looking for the right boarding/daycare choice, Peace of Heaven is that place!

If you have any worries about leaving your sweet babies behind, this is the place for you! They will have an amazing time at Peace of Heaven while you’re gone. Our pups always have the best time while we are gone. They are spoiled rotten! They also get to socialize, if your prefer, with other dogs. We just got home from a trip and all they have done is slept from all the playtime! Not to mention you’ll get pictures and updates if needed from Bernie!

Peace of Heaven were amazing with my dogs! I boarded my dogs for the first time. One of them is a nervous guy and needs things to go at his speed. They took their time with my boys, and helped make their experience there as stress free as possible. My dogs were happy when I dropped them off and happy when I picked them up. The owner kept me updated with daily text messages on how their stay was going. When he noticed one of my dogs was anxious during their stay, he messaged me and offered to speak with me over the phone on how I would like to handle my dogs anxiety while there. I was able to see daily pictures of my dogs. The daily text and picture updates really helped me relax more while I was away, I am a helicopter dog owner. I would recommend this place for everyone. I can't praise this place enough.

We just boarded our dog with Peace of Heaven for a week and they treated him as if he were their own dog, with lots of love and attention! The facility is top notch with comfortable and safe areas for all dogs. Bernie and Angie are dedicated to providing a tailored experience your dog’s needs, whether the dog loves to make new friends or needs their own space. We were provided regular updates and pictures which gave us peace of mind that he was well taken care of at Peace of Heaven! Thanks again Bernie and Angie and I’m sure Ransom is looking forward to his next stay and making more friends!!

We were introduced to this place by the lady who used to groom our puppy. We visited and were delightfully surprised by how different this daycare/boarding places is from other pet daycare/boarding facilities that we have visited before (both in IL and in other states). Very clean, large green outdoor playground, very large and amazingly designed (with playground equipment) indoor playground. The sleeping areas are amazing, with TVs, and enough space. The prices are a bit higher but I think the peace of mind that comes with it makes it worthwhile, specially for boarding. It's absolutely a must-visit for pet parents close to the LeRoy area, they do things very differently. I heard there's a waterplay area for dogs too for the very warm days but was a bit short on time today so I didn't see that specific area. All in all, if you're a bit picky about how your beloved pet is treated, this is the place to check out. Sheila is the lady who grooms there and we've known her for a while. She is AMAZING too, and she does grooming with a lot of love and care. We'll go there for grooming too, the grooming price is the same as other places and we're so happy with the service Sheila provides.
On other thing to add is that the owners are tech-savvy and very quick with responding. I sent the electronic vaccine records, they were very quick with confirming that all was ok and notified me the first time when I missed to submit a specific document. In other places, I would be asked to take the hard copy of the vaccinations. It appears that this place is built and managed with passion and with a lot of love for pets, so check it out.
