The new owners of Pawtology put the former owners TO SHAME.

Wow. Just. Wow. I’ve been coming to Pawtology since I moved to Tampa 4 years ago. I guess I always went to the location for convenience, but never really formed any connection with the previous owners.

I took my girl in today for a basic wash and nail trim. Upon entering I realized it was the new owners. Not only was the guy (idk his name I’m sorry) at the front SUPER affable and welcoming, I just immediately felt at ease. When I picked my baby up, I was blown away. She was the definition of immaculate. Her fur shined, she smelled so good, and her nails were perfect. I could not believe it.

I’m still in shock. I plan to book every month for the entire next year bc I know this place is going to blow up with appts pretty soon. I seldom write reviews but this is definitely beyond 5/5 stars. Selfish me didn’t want to write this but they truly deserve it.

I wish this wasn’t limited to 5 stars. We had SUCH a good experience. Not only were they able to get my pup in as a walk-in, the entire staff was beyond perfect to my anxious pup. She never lets anyone touch her nails, and the manager there took the time to talk her through it and get my dog - who always flails around and gets stressed from getting her nails done - to calmly let her do all of her nails. I was shocked. Then they took the time afterward to work through a grooming plan with me to get her shedding under control. Then they recommended some treats which my dog has loved. 10/10 customers for life. Me & Annie love you guys!

Just moved to Harbor Island in April 2025.. Initial groom was good but about 40% more than I paid in downtown Philadelphia.. again the groom was good...was annoyed at the HUGE PRICE for a 35lb dog.. and then they closed... was so bummed!! Husband has a huge disability.. ALS! So hard to get out to do anything, so was excited to have a groomer at the base of our building! And then they closed.. with no warning or notice.. UGH! After inquiring a few times, found out they were opening again...eventually found out.. under new management! Well... let me tell you....the new management.. the groomers.... so wonderful... at a reasonable price!! So glad I waited and decided to stay with Pawtology on Harbor Island... the prices are more in line with my dogs size.. They have everything you could ever want in their shop.. the service is so top notch.. the manager is so talented and friendly.. We found a home here.. So excited to do business with these groomers for years to come! Thank you for taking care of my Mia--she looks absolutely beautiful after today's groom!! EXACTLY like I asked.. and OMG.. she smells so good!!!!! Thank you!!

The new management and groomer is wonderful I was taken care of me when I walk in the door with a warm welcome and I was so impressed on how my dog look I have never seen Teddy look so amazing! Best i ever seen him look . This new team is absolutely wonderful, and I definitely recommend giving them a chance. Your pets will be in great hands! Trust me I know from real experience. Not sure why so many bad reviews. Tell them I sent you .

I took my doodle to this groomer and unfortunately left with a wounded dog. The second we walked in the door they started examining his fur and pointing out tangles. Doodles have thick curly hair and are bound to have some tangles. I have curly hair and can brush daily and still struggle with tangles/knots.

The owner claimed the numerous visible wounds and scrapes they inflicted were due to matting. “He has some irritation in his armpits due to matting”, is what I was told.

He has cuts even underneath his stomach and private parts where there's hardly any fur. My dog is now clearly depressed and uncomfortable due to their rough handling and false excuse. Mind you, this is a $160 service.

This was my dogs 3rd time at this groomer. We have not had an issue before. I am not writing this review to steer business away from them. I am simply sharing my experience and will likely not be back.

I’ve been taking my dogs to Pawtology for 4-5 years and they always provide warm and welcoming service. They are extremely patient with my anxious pups, one of which is 18 and has special needs. Highly recommend.

Jasmine did the BEST grooming job on our Great Pyrenees! She got out matted fur, got rid of so much fur that needed to be shed, trimmed him up perfectly and cut all of his nails and dew claws. We have a standing appointment with her every eight weeks now!
