My husband and I loved our experience with Pawsitive Companionship. We recently finished the puppy class with our pup, Maple! Ann Marie was so easy to get in touch with, made the training sessions informative and fun, and our little girl learned so much! I was worried about doing online training, but it actually worked out great. Ann Marie was able to see Maple in her own environment, and address certain behaviors that she might not have otherwise seen in person. Every zoom call was small (sometimes it was only us, and sometimes it was us and one other puppy family), which meant we were able to ask a ton of questions and get lots of advice! More than anything, she equipped my husband and I with the tools and resources we needed to begin training our puppy! We definitely recommend Ann Marie and Pawsitive Companionship and hope to take more classes in the future!

Ann Marie’s training made a huge difference in our dog’s behavior and the overall anxiety level at our house. After just one session, our min pin was listening to commands, much calmer when we had visitors in the house and seemed like a generally calmer dog. One of the biggest things Ann Marie helped me with was my expectations around my dog’s behavior. Some of her suggestions seemed so simple when she said it, but hadn’t occurred to me prior to our training session. All of her training is positive and easy for an owner to practice. She sends very detailed follow ups to training sessions which are a very helpful reference when continuing training on your own. The sweetest surprise from the training I did with Ann Marie is how much more bonded I am to my dog and I are to each other. Thank you Ann Marie!

We came to AnnMarie for help in training our puppy. We had been looking for a science-based, positive trainer to help us, and we have been so happy with the results. AnnMarie is professional, prepared, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable. She was able to help us with every area of concern and provided extremely specific instructions and feedback.

The remote zoom lessons were ideal. We worked with our pup at home, and AnnMarie was able to watch him in his real-life setting, provide feedback, and give us ideas for how to help him. We will absolutely return if we have challenges in the future, but we also feel well-prepared to give our puppy what he needs to thrive and become a well-mannered family dog. Worth every penny. Highly recommended.
