I cannot say enough good things about Pavlov! When I initially rescued a dog when I was 20 years old, one of my biggest regrets is that I had never gotten him properly trained and we dealt/managed/coped with his behavioral issues his entire life. When I got Griswold (the noodle dog in the photos), I swore to myself I was going to get him professionally trained so that we could both live higher qualities of life.

I am a veterinarian and while I am great at managing medical cases, I do not excel at dog training- the hows, the whys, the whens, etc. Quinn was the primary trainer for Griswold and she did an amazing job at teaching him how to be an upstanding gentleman of society AND also teaching me how to maintain his manners. I do not think that Griswold would have excelled had I also not been trained on how to continue to instill his lessons.

They are reasonably priced for the level of services they provide and the quality of care the dogs receive. Griswold was exhausted from constant mental stimulation and physical exercise after playing with the other dogs, which was a wonderful break for me!

I will recommend them to anyone seeking out dog training. I know Quinn can easily handle Griswold as well as more difficult behavioral cases. I appreciate all that she, and the rest of the team at Pavlov, do for our canine friends!

We have a giant schnauzer and she was a total handful when we got her as a 7 month old puppy. And the bigger she got the more difficult it was to manage her. She would bark constantly when we put her in her crate and pulled on every walk. We were referred to Pavlov’s. We did all three weeks of training for on and off leash. Our little girl is a completely different dog now. She is calm, confident, and listens. She is happier and we are infinitely happier. Walks are a pleasure and crate time is easy. We will continue to work with Pavlov’s for every dog we have and for all of our boarding needs. I cannot recommend them enough. Chelsea and Madalyn have been so great to work with.

Chelsea was the best trainer we could have asked for! Our 8 month old pup, Sunny, was in serious need of leash training and in home obedience (counter surfing and cat chasing). Sunny did the two week board and train and came back a different dog. I can’t believe how well she does on her leash. We also did follow up sessions to address some in home training which has been SO helpful.

Sunny also attended puppy pre-school at Pavlov as an introduction and I highly recommend it for puppy parents. She was only 9 weeks at the start but it set us up to success and gave her a chance to learn boundaries with other dogs.

She’s been back to board at Pavlov since then and always comes home a happy girl!

We recently had our 1-year-old golden retriever, Henry, participate in Pavlov's 3 week Board and Train program, and we couldn't be more grateful for Caitlin and the entire Pavlov team.

Henry can be especially sensitive to new people, places, and things, and while he's the absolute sweetest boy, he lacked the tools to confidently go on walks and even step outside without going into panic mode. Through the 3 weeks with Caitlin, and the follow-up sessions thereafter, Caitlin established the groundwork to significantly improve Henry's walking abilities and overall confidence. All of our friends and family have been completely blown away by his progress.

We trust Caitlin and the Pavlov team entirely and would recommend them to anyone looking for professional dog training — they are amazing communicators, highly organized, caring, and have a system that actually works. We've also taken advantage of the boarding with benefits option when we've gone out of town, and it's truly a game changer to bring Henry somewhere that we all know, love and trust!

I sent my dog (half Great Pyrenees, half Australian Cattle Dog) to Pavlov for a 3 week board and train in January 2024 when he was 15 months old. I wanted to work on his recall, his leash skills, his ability to settle in new situations, and his reactivity to strangers. I had tried a few other trainers before, but nothing seemed to stick. Quinn was his trainer and she really worked wonders on him! He's a very sensitive dog, so I was worried he would lose his personality, but that wasn't the case. He's actually more at ease and goofy since I'm not as stressed out about his behavior and he trusts me a lot more. His heel is perfect and he has great recall so I'm able to hike with him off leash! It makes me so happy that he can live his best life outdoors exploring. He used to be very anxious and growl and bark at new people coming into the home, but now that he knows park it (and can hold it for a very long time), it's easier to bring new people around him. I can take him to breweries and he will just lay there and sometimes even fall asleep now which was unheard of before around so many new people. He will always have those stranger danger tendencies, but they are much easier to handle and mitigate now. The boarding with benefits is a great perk and he gets so excited when I tell him he's going to Pavlov to stay! Overall very happy with the experience and a year later he is still thriving!

I can't say enough wonderful things about the 3 week board and train program with our trainers Chelsea and Madalyn. The transformation in our dog has been remarkable. One of the most impressive outcomes was the solid off-leash recall training - our dog now reliably comes when called, which gives us such peace of mind.
The trainers didn't just work on obedience; they also helped our dog learn valuable life skills. Thanks to their training, our dog is now much calmer and better at settling down in the house. This has made such a difference in our daily life and home environment.
What really stands out is how Chelsea and Madalyn clearly understand dog behavior and use effective, positive training methods. They also clearly love our dog & her excitement when seeing them makes us feel at peace about the time we spent away from her. I enrolled my 6 month old puppy, Henry, in the 2 week board and train program to work with Jason. He stayed at Jason’s house and had an amazing time! My main goal was to work on leash training and impulse control. I can’t say enough good things about the experience. Walking him now is like walking a new dog! He no longer jumps, pulls, and has learned the heel command. The follow-up sessions have been great as well as I continue to work on what Jason has taught him (and me). I also just boarded him at Jason’s house while I was away on a work trip. I felt absolutely at ease leaving as I knew Henry would be thrilled to be back there. It’s a very structured environment and Henry has plenty of play time there with the other pups. I loved the email updates with a progress report and pictures! I did a lot of research when I was choosing training, and I am so thankful I went with Pavlov and that Jason was the trainer!

I enrolled Gregor in Pavlov's board and train program after he literally took me for a ride running after a dog. He went from needing a harness and a leash around my waste for me to feel I had control of him, to walking in a heal with a collar and leash and hardly noticing other dogs walking by. We were both given the tools and commands necessary for me to able to control my 85lb Rottweiler confidently and for Gregor to feel less stressed on walks and control his dog reactivity. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful throughout the entire process. The time in training I received many updates, videos and pictures. The follow up lessons really help drive home my confidence and structure. Caitlin is always amazing and Gregor is always so happy to see her. We look forward to continuing walk programs with Pavlov to continue our comfortability. 10 out of 10 recommend Pavlov and plan to use them with any other dogs I get in the future.
