I love the course. The lectures are 10 out of 10, and the material is taught in a way I have not seen before. I'm being taught how to use what I learned. The approach is truly invaluable. I am learning a lot and truly value the structure and clarity.

My main concern is accessibility. As an in-person student who is paying more than online students, it does not feel reasonable to be denied access to the live online lectures when personal or health issues come up. Requiring a doctor’s note creates unnecessary stress and adds a barrier, especially in situations that do not warrant a formal visit.

The recordings are helpful, but they are not a true substitute for live access. You cannot ask questions in real time, and missing even one session in a fast-paced five-week course can set you back significantly. The recordings are also not uploaded immediately, so when class runs from 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM, the entire day is lost by the time you get access- and you have class the same time the next day. This slows down your progress and puts in-person students at a disadvantage, even though we are paying more.

I share this feedback with appreciation for the program and in the hope that it can help make the experience more supportive for everyone.

I took this program in 2012, 2months before taking my step 1. I was failing my practice tests, but decided to watch Dr. Francis, which resulted in doing very well on my step 1. If it wasn’t for Dr. Francis, I would not be a psychiatrist today. Thank you Dr. Francis.

This is, hands down, the best review for the USMLE Steps out there. I did the online lectures and they have made the difference for me! After not seeing any progress using a different board review, I found the PASS program. It helped me understand to be able to process, retain and apply large amounts of information for the test and in rotations. The progress has been substantial! Thank you, Dr. Francis, for making this program happen and for making it accessible in many forms and in many price ranges. The online version pricing feels like a gift to a struggling student. The PASS program is life changing!

Dr Francis PASS program is NOT a SCAM - its a GODSEND because he translates a mountain of facts into a cohesive, coherent and understandable format that allows you to “critically think” about pathology. If youre a typical Indian/Pakistani student who needs to memorize facts (which is valuable too) then this probably wont be for you as CRITICAL THINKING is what you learn at the PASS program, not ways to regurgitate. I used the program for Step 1 and passed. Reflected and reviewed the same material and passed step 2. And even now in preparation for step 3, Dr Francis’ material allows me to make long lasting connections to the material where I can basically figure everything out from the gross to molecular level. I cannot say enough good things and if youre a foreigner who doesnt appreciate
American culture and how we share through storytelling, stay in your country honestly, as no matter how smart you are, if you cant connect with Americans - you shouldnt be here to treat them. Highly recommended program!!!

My wife attended the PASS Program as an ECFMG student. We LOVED the program. It is a grueling couple of months...but Dr. Francis and the staff are incredible. She loved it and is well on her way to passing Step 1. There were many students from abroad, but there were also a lot of US student who may not have done well with Step 1 the first time or did not have the confidence to take it yet.

If you are struggling with the Steps tests at all, this is absolutely an investment that will change the way you study and will help you pass the tests. The PASS Program will change your life if you are a med student.
