This place is a hidden gem to be sure. Not withstanding the great assortment available in the store, I was extremely impressed with the knowledge and kindness of the staff. Even without spending a penny that day, Nate spent nearly an hour sharing his knowledge with me and patiently answering my questions. And folks...he did it with enthusiasm. That is so rare these days as to make Parker Exotic Pets a place to be on everyone's maps.

The pets at this store are amazing! And the staff is awesome, knowledgeable and patient. They always answer my questions and are eager to help. I own many animals from this store and they take great pride in taking care of them and making sure they are healthy before they go home. Everyone wants to have a good experience as a pet owner, can you imagine bringing home a sick animal? The staff here is amazing, I'm updating this review 3 years later, but nothing has changed. Parker Exotic Pets is still the best place to get exotic pets and supplies for them! Thank you for being so reliable throughout the years!

Love this store. Definitely worth the hour drive. Bought a lil spider. The folks were extremely helpful. Superior costumer service. Selection was fantastic. We picked up a beautiful little dwarf tarantula and will definitely frequent the shop.

We visited this store today because my son has been talking about getting a bearded dragon for months. He’s young and we don’t want to rush into getting one. We also wanted to let him meet some beardies and even pet/hold them if we were able. The gentleman working today was awesome. He introduced us to Chungus, the store beardie, and let my son hold and pet him. He also let him check out one of the baby beardies who enjoys being handled. We learned so much today and are so grateful for the time spent so that our son understands all that goes into the care of these neat creatures. If we decide to move forward, we are definitely getting our beardie from here because you can tell they send time with the animals, handle them, and care about their wellbeing. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Thank you again!

I can only speak on the small animal care and supplies. If I could give this store a zero i would. Both the chinchillas and rabbits had not a single peice of hay in their enclosures. This is 90% of their diet and should be fed 24/7 unlimited. There was also no bedding in their cages. Any urine would just sit on the hard surface. They did have littler pans with pine pellets but no small animal is 100% little trained. The small animal supplies were minimal and dusty. The brand sunset guinea pig food is some if the worst ingredients for herbivores, animal protein. Any ethical pet store should understand and research the products they care to better inform the public of the proper animal husbandry.

Enjoy coming and its the closest convenient place to us. Wish it had better ventilation though sometimes the smell is a bit much too bear. Great helpful staff though
