I can agree with one of the comments here as I felt they were racially profiling my family and I. Felt some racism. Coming from someone who has taken care of animals, volunteered at shelters and understands what is necessary to care for an animal and getting denied. I mentioned that the dog we wanted to adopt would be an outside dog as we have a huge backyard, two patios and a huge outdoor kennel and they said we want them inside. What does it matter as long as the animal is being taken care of? We come from an active family and heavily included my past shepherd in every aspect of our life but he slept outside as well. What does that have to do with anything? I had my dog for 12 years and he probably traveled more than most people because he came everywhere with me. You would rather keep the dog at the shelter in a cage everyday instead of giving it a home where she will have more attention and exercise? Sounds selfish. They didn’t ask enough questions which is pretty unprofessional.

Lovely new facility! Kind staff. We adopted a German shepherd back in 2019 and stopped by to visit just recently. Lots of animals needing homes. Please adopt! I will adopt from them again when the time comes.

Really nice place but the people there racial profile the people that walk in there we went in for a dog, picked it out did all the steps that needed to be done and they gave us no reason why they didn’t want us to adopt it. I felt uncomfortable the whole time over there. Felt really like they were racist
