Paddle NC

We had a fantastic time kayaking with Paddle NC at Carolina Beach State Park! Kayaks and equipment were in good condition (even provided a dry bag for our valuables), guide was an expert and gave us great pointers before leaving and the scenery was stunning! We paddled out to Sugarloaf Dune and climbed to the top for another beautiful view of the river. Highly recommend for a change in scenery and fun activity to do during your beach vacation!

So amazing! To begin, to rent kayaks was so affordable! They had great customer service and provided us with a lot of information about the routes and where we could see amazing wildlife. 10 out of 10 would recommend and plan on doing again!

Guide was very helpful and gave us some basic instruction which was great. Told us clearly how to get back - very helpful since we had only kayaked on rivers which have one direction obviously. 😄 Beautiful and very peaceful! Saw lots of Jumping Mullet, Osprey, Great Blue Heron, Lesser Terns fishing and even saw dolphin!!!🐬

We had a fantastic trip to Bear Island with Paddle NC. With the ferry taking off Summer ‘24, the island was nearly deserted, and we literally had the beach to ourselves. Our guide was Jimmy, who was excellent - he was full of interesting information and was great at engaging our kids. Highly recommended!

We had such a great 4 hour Kayak ride. Meagan and the Aussie were so kind and helpful. They even took pictures of us before and coming in. Sugar loaf Dunes were so relaxing for the stop point.

Traveled down from Va Beach with inflatable stand up paddle-boards that we have had for years. Before setting off we talked to the lady at Paddle NC who informed us the best places to paddle and explore. Then one paddleboard developed a leak, so I rented a kayak from Paddle NC which took no time at all. Then 10 minutes into our journey, the 2nd paddleboard developed a leak (guessing 10 years is about the lifespan of these first generation ISUPs). My wife got safely to shore and walked the trail back while I towed the ISUP back to Paddle NC where the same lady quickly got my wife setup with a nice SUP. Despite the initial stress and frustration with our ISUPs, Paddle NC saved the day and we enjoyed a couple of peaceful hours of the beautiful and serene coastline along the park. Highly recommend!!! Very reasonable prices and informative.

Our family of adventurous but novice paddlers enjoyed a beautiful, sunset paddle with a flavor of ecotour added by our guide. Holly was wonderful and adjusted pace for us. Recommend keeping you phone in the life vest front zip pouch for pictures.

Had a great time paddling with Megan, she was super friendly, knowledgeable, and patient with us. Got some amazing photos and fun time on the water. We were visiting for the weekend and she totally made us feel at home.
