This is the WORST pet store I’ve ever been to. By no means should anyone take their pets or purchase ANYTHING from this store. I walked in the other day with my dog and as soon as I walked in a wasn’t welcome but looked at by every employee as if they were angry with me. After finding something I needed to get as I went to check out one of the workers pointed out that my dog wasn’t a purebred? This immediately caught the attention of the other workers where they ALL ganged up and insulted my pup to his face and my face, I was so overwhelmed with humility and rage that I ran out of the store as they all laughed at me yelling things like “don’t come back until your pure like the white race”. Not only did I cry but my dog cried as well (pictured). After reflecting on these comments I will be standing outside protesting this spot and informing people not to buy from their and sharing my experience with any of their potential customers.

To start out with the pros of this store. There are none. Moving on, I went into this store for advice on my German shepherd because it/her was having issues going to the bathroom. I lived close to this store and saw the reviews. FYI DO NOT TRUST THEM. I think these people paid for fake reviews. When I went in Alycia was the gal who came up to me to help. As I was explaining my issue to her she told me I didn’t know what I was talking about and that I should trust her the “expert” in the matter. I felt a tab bit uncomfortable but I gave way for her to help me. To explain a bit my dog has been having issues with arthritis and has been walking less and less. I’ve tried oils and other supplements to help but nothing really seemed to do the trick. She explained to me that I needed to get my dog some medicine and that she knew a good vet who could prescribe it. I left the store a bit confused about the whole situation so I did some research on this medication and turns out there were multiple studies that this medicine caused cancer in dogs. A case study showed that 1 in ever 6 dogs gained some sort of cancer mainly being lung cancer. I was so shocked. I decided to further my investigation by going to the vet she recommended and this vet was completely clueless to this medication it was absolutely insane that they were practicing and prescribing this to animals. I will not be returning to this store.

I can't say enough great things about Our Pet Spot, especially the manager, Alesha! I've called multiple times, and every interaction with Alesha has been wonderful. She is incredibly kind, patient, and always willing to help with any questions I have. Her customer service is top-notch, and it's clear she truly cares about both pets and their owners. I know this is a place that values its customers. Highly recommend!

We have come here a few times for pet events. The owners, Alycia and Julie, have always been kind to us, are very easy to have a conversation with, and clearly love what they do for their community and the animals that come with it.

It's a shame that there are some posts on here trying to bring down the reality of what a wonderful place this is. You can be certain those are not real interactions from customers

The store is “pet friendly” so bring your special friend and check out the “dog wash” along with the frequent washer program! See the photos and how spacious the dog washing area is! Towels and shampoo provided.

The fresh baked dog treats look like fun for any size dog, provided by The Barkley. Pictures are worth a thousand words, so cute!

Another unique feature in the store is the availability of worms and grubs for reptiles. Come in and get a fresh worm crop for chickens too!

There are adorable signs and Christmas treats for any fur baby!

Being able to share your thoughts with a local owner really does make a difference in your “best friend”experience.

I purchased some cat toys for our kitties and had left them on the counter to put in the stockings. In a short time I heard noise from both cats running on the wood floors. They had knocked down the toy and were playing with it still in the packaging. Yes, they loved the soft materials the toy was constructed with. Early Christmas for them! Greenies with cat nip will be in the stocking now.

My husband stopped into Our Pet Spot about a month ago just to grab a surprise treat for our dogs. We were introduced to the raw frozen bones and they have been fantastic for our dogs. The bones are locally sourced in Colorado.

The owner is an absolute delight. She is knowledgeable and kind. Please support this awesome local business!!

Clean store, the gal that works there is very kind as well. I’m happy they have crickets and a few things for reptiles, it saves a trip all the way to Boulder to go to scales n tails.
