Gyula is great! We needed to have my 8 year old learn how to work with our puppy. Gyula was great not only with our puppy, but also our daughter. He was so patient and calm. We had fun working with him to train our dog.

Gyula and Anna are amazing at what they do. I did a puppy group training with my obnoxious girl, and they were able to help teach me different ways to handle her. By session 5 I noticed the biggest difference in her. She no longer barks or growls at every dog she sees, she just wants to play. I can walk her without her getting distracted and barking at everything. I am so grateful for Opal training. And Maya loves them!

Gyula and Anna were famously able to teach my entire family how to train our very fast growing Vela. When we started we had no clue what to expect as she is our first puppy in training. It was almost harder for us to learn the new skill then our puppy! By the end of our sessions we had mastered heel, sit, stay, come and some nose work, Vela's favorite by far! Our family utilizes these new skills in our daily life and we are so appreciative of how far Vela has come with Opal Dog Training. Thank you for all you do with all the training and support. We can't wait for the next set of classes!

Opals dog training is amazing. I have 3 puppies that are large breed dogs and big at 6 & 10 months. I was having extreme difficulty with everything. Gyula and Anna came in to rescue me and restore sanity back to my house. They patiently work with you and your fur babies. Taking cues from my pups on what was working and what wasn't, never forcing them to do something they weren't ready to try. My pups loved them, and so do we. I highly recommend them.

Our new rescue is such a sweet, caring, and loving doggo. She is SO smart and has the best little sniffer!

With that being said, owning a dog who was owned previously by 2 owners (to NO fault of the dog’s) comes with its own set of challenges.

We have had our beagle for a little over 1 month now. Some days can be so challenging but we want to give her, her best chance.

We decided to hire Opal Dog Training for help.
Gyula Mate has given us such a piece of mind. He comes to our home and teaches US how to handle our beagle AND how to have her build a relationship with our first fur baby (PS our first fur baby is a rescue dog as well--she is 7 years old and we have had her for 4 years. We thought she was "set in hand would just freak out at any dog or person on walks. Gyula helped us by teaching us the proper way to correct/walk her and now she is SO good on walks! I never thought this would happen).

After working with other trainers for our very reactive Labradoodle Seger, I am so fortunate to have found Opal Dog Training! They come to our home and work with both of us (and yes, I need training also!). They are very patient, and take time to explain why and how I need to handle him, and every session, we learn something new. Very optimistic about our adventures together! We have two other Doodles I hope to work with them on refreshing their behaviors also. Seger is responding to his training, and we’ve noticed a difference in how he greets people, now working on his attitude how he greets dogs.

We have three labs. They are good dogs but we’re a little out of control especially our 3 year old to friendly jumping on people and not listening We also had one who was aggressive towards other dogs After just a few lessons both behavioral problems were gone.
