I cannot say enough great things about Dan and his help with my new coonhound mix puppy, Callie 🤗 She has such a strong scent drive that having the e-training allows her to safely be off leash (where allowed) on our fun adventures, and also helps with her day-to-day obedience since she is super independent. Dan was so patient and helpful with her/me and recognized what hounds need. Recommend him to anyone I meet needing training, but also had my previous dog train years ago with Off Leash K9, and everyone is great! Thanks a million 🐾

Penny our 10 month old black lab mix German Shepard was known for being very energetic, sometimes too energetic to where it was hard to take her out to public places. She also pulled on her leash when taking her on walks, got distracted with kids playing at the park, other dogs being walked ect. She didn’t really think before doing anything, we knew there was a solution but we were unsure if we could do it ourselves due to being busy with work. So we started looking into dog trainers and signed her up for the 2 week on board obedience training. I personally was second guessing getting her professionally trained due to being unsure if she was still going to be a normal dog at the end of the day but we would 100% recommend this training facility for your dog!

Derek was our trainer for the 2 weeks, he sent us updates around the same time everyday so we had something to look forward too. He was very patient with our dog and overall a very respectful guy. When we met up at the end of the 2 weeks he changed our perspective and explained to us how dogs manipulate us into getting their way. He taught us how to look out for that and how to control it at home as well.

Penny now doesn’t pull on her leash nor tries to chase after things outside, we can also take her into public stores and she stays by our side the entire time. She’s very calm compared to before we dropped her off, she thinks before she does anything and knows when it’s time to play and when it’s time to be obedient while still being a normal dog.  We are very glad we got the training done while she’s still some what a puppy so it can carry along for further of her life.

I highly recommend working with Dan. My heart worm positive, high-energy lab, Murphy, is now off of his sedative and anxiety medication because he is able to listen to instructions so much better. He is so much more confident, calm, and well-behaved after the 4 training sessions we had with Dan. It is truly amazing to see the transformation from a dog who could not be bothered to listen to commands, to a dog who is eager to respond to instruction. He has found the training to be fun, and it is life-changing for Murphy and his owners.

We cannot say enough good things about Gustavo! Our female German Shepherd, Lila, has an extremely high drive, which had been challenging to manage. Before training, we were experiencing issues with her channeling that energy into reactivity & aggression towards dogs & on a few occasions people; After the 15 day board and train program with Gustavo, we are thrilled and relieved with the progress she has made and excited to continue working with her at home.

Gustavo was amazing from start to finish. During our drop off & pickup, he was incredibly thorough in explaining the training process, the reasoning behind each technique, and how to continue reinforcing her training at home. His detailed explanations gave us confidence and clarity on how to support her ongoing development.

She is one of three large dogs in our household, and the training is already helping us manage our home in a more effective and improved way. Since bringing her home, we’ve noticed a significant difference in her behavior - we couldn’t be more pleased. Knowing we can attend additional refresher sessions with Gustavo gives us even more peace of mind.

This was the best decision and investment we have ever made. From our very first time communicating with Off Leash K9 training it was extremely professional. We were not able to come in for an orientation so Derek hopped on a video call where we chatted about our goals for our dog, our current issues and he took time to answer any questions or concerns that we had.

While in the 2 week training program Derek sent us daily pictures and videos of our puppies training. Leaving your dog for two weeks is hard, but Derek made it easier by sending his daily updates and summaries about what they have been up to and how she has been doing.

After her two week training period Derek set up a 2 hour session where he goes over all of the new skills your puppy has learned and takes the time to teach you how to cue your dog properly while following the same constant protocol that was used during the training. He was patient and did not rush us, he even did a second training session with my husband since he wasn’t there for pick up. He cares about the dogs and really wants to make sure their owners understand how to control their dogs, which allows them to have a successful and fun relationship!

After getting our 6 month old puppy back, it feels like we are able to live our life again, rather than having to watch her every move in the house and in the back yard. Her biggest concerns with chewing, biting/nipping peoples hands and ankles and pulling on the leash. Now we are able to take her for walks without being pulled by her, and are able to have in control and on a heel even with birds and squirrels around. It is has been a night and day change in our dog and we are so grateful for all over Derek’s work he put in.

We could not recommend Derek enough. We truly truly believe it was the best decision we have made!

I HIGHLY recommend Off-Leash K9 Training to anyone who has a dog in need of some better manners and discipline. My wife and I took our one-year-old Havanese to our initial consultation, where we were lucky to be paired with Stevie. Stevie showed us the facility, explained every detail of the two-week training program, and made sure we were absolutely comfortable before we scheduled our training. It was difficult to be away from our dog for two weeks, but Stevie sent us daily updates via text along with really fun videos and photos of her progress, which eased our anxiety as we counted the days until pickup.

We met with Stevie following the two-week training program and she demonstrated how to continue training at home to ensure our dog gets the most from the program. My wife and I are thrilled with the results. Our dog can now heel perfectly on walks around the neighborhood, whereas before she was pulling and highly distractable. She also has much better manners when greeting people and other dogs. Her place commands are also coming in really handy, and she's much more comfortable in her crate than she was prior to her time with Stevie.

She has been home for a few days now and the change is remarkable. I feel infinitely more confident bringing her out into public. I really can't recommend the program enough. We didn't have any personal interaction with the other trainers (who we've heard are terrific as well) but I would absolutely recommend Stevie. We're excited to pass her details on to anyone we come across who is in need.

I highly recommend Off Leash K9 Training, particularly our trainer Dan "The Man," and here's why. Our one-year-old puppy is very energetic and prey-driven. Before training, he would pull on his leash throughout the entire walk and chase after any animal he spotted. Because of this, we chose the two-week board and train program. Despite the investment, it was worth every penny, especially because it took the pressure off of us.

Our trainer, Dan, was very knowledgeable and respectful of our needs and concerns. Anything we expected from our puppy, Dan made sure to include in the training. He customized the experience to our needs and kept us in the loop throughout the whole process. We still keep in touch to this day.

Our dog is now very obedient. He is proficient in heel, sit, down, and place. He will only break his commands once given his "release" word. It's hard to describe the bond you form once you learn how to communicate with your dog proficiently. Our life is much smoother now that we have a "Mr. Good Boy" in the house.

Off Leash K9 is absolutely the best dog training anywhere! Dan worked with my dog Rocky for two weeks in the board/train program. I was so scared to leave my 6 year old German Shepherd/Husky for two weeks, but this was the best money I’ve ever spent.
Dan was so good with Rocky and they developed a great relationship. Dan had a challenge with my boy, with anxiety and fear. I could not believe the positive change in just two weeks. I picked him up only 3 days ago and have been continuing the training myself. Our home life has improved drastically with his confidence built up. No more barking at everything that walks by, or trucks passing. I highly recommend Off Lease K9, and especially highly recommend Dan.
