Off Leash K9 Training is a fantastic training service as well as boarding option. We left our Great Dane Duke with them a few years ago when we went on a trip and we were blown away at his training when we picked him up and then we were training on his new commands and how to follow their approach. Duke was okay before the training but walking without pulling was always a bit of an issue as well as door etiquette when people came over and his down and stay wasn’t the best. Now we don’t need a leash at all, it’s just for show. His heel is perfect, his stay is perfect. It’s given both him and us so much more freedom to bring him along with us in public and anyone in our family can now walk him without concern for his size and pulling. Since the first experience, Duke has boarded with the team many times. We’ve found he’s happiest with them over other options after we get back from a trip he can’t join us on. Every day we get pictures, videos and write ups of his day and reporting on his eating, bathroom breaks and health. Duke gets lots of play on his boarding as well refreshers on training. We feel like he really gets his own vacation when we go away and getting to review his daily update is a highlight for the whole family. We’re very happy we found Off Leash K9 and would definitely recommend.

We have a 1 yr old cattle dog mix. He was a counter surfer, pulled on the leash so much my hand hurt and very little recall. Went with the 3 week board and train. Yes, it’s pricey, but he is an absolute incredibly behaved and controlled dog. It’s worth every dollar- as I can take him everywhere now with complete confidence of having him off leash and knowing he will stay close.

Friends are amazed at how much he has changed for the better- no more jumping but still his cuddly, loving self! So glad we went with Off Leash K9. Sabrina was amazing- updating us every evening with photos, videos, and a written narrative of the day. You get a report of if your pup ate all of his food, if their stool was solid and they weigh them 3 times a week.

I was seeking a Board and Train program for my recently adopted Blue Heeler, Scout. I found OLK9 with an Internet search in my area of San Francisco. I enrolled him in the one week training program because I felt he was smart and just needed to overcome his youthful character / lack of discipline - gain some structure. I was impressed from the drop off to the pick-up.

The one week course covers:
Come on command (outside, off-leash, with distractions)
Sit and Extended Sit
Waiting politely at doors and gates
Waiting politely for meals
Place and Extended Place (Jump up and sit on an object you point to on command and stay there until released)

The staff and trainers are fully engaged, friendly, professional, communicative, and I'm completely satisfied with the results of their work. Everyone there seems like they're doing the work which they truly enjoy. The staff provides daily report cards which is a welcome service, so clients can remain engaged and track their dog's progress.

At the retrieval stage, you'll be given time with your dog to review what he's learned, and how you will continue to give him instructions in the manner which he's learned. I highly recommend the Off Leash K9 Training Center.

Off Leash K9 is an amazing service! My wife and I were very nervous about our puppy’s first board and train. It was the first time we left him for any extended period of time, so our thoughts and fears were heightened.

Off Leash does such a wonderful job, our fears of leaving him in someone else’s care quickly faded.

I wanted to address the boarding first. Our puppy receive constant interaction, hours of training, play time, and love. Everyday, we were sent a video on progress updates, along with tons of cute photos. Also, we received a food consumption and potty report daily. Just seeing daily videos of how happy and engaged he looked was enough to remove any fears of being away from him. This service alone is completely worth it.

Next, the training was impeccable. Our pup just made the cut of 20 weeks to enter into the adult program (2 week board and train). Our trainer, Tais, was excellent. Our pup truly loved her, and we saw the amazing bond they formed in real time. She taught him all the basic commands, but in high distraction environments, such as the park. His recall is more than I can ask for as a just under 5 month puppy. My highlight for the program was how they taught him a flawless heel. His leash manners are amazing. For me, leash manners was the skill I emphasized the most importance on. A pup who can walk calmly by your side is such a great sign of excellent obedience.

When we picked up our pup, we received a 2 hour training session from our trainer. It’s important to keep in mind that the training they received needs to be incorporated and reinforced when your pup gets home. I feel confident in the tools and skills Off Leash provided me to keep our pup’s training journey effective and fun.

We are so incredibly pleased with the training from Courteney at off the leash! Our highly anxious retriever is 3 years old and we had done numerous rounds of training previously to no avail. His anxiety manifests as extreme, loud, non stop barking when we have people visiting the house and on walks, as well as jumping up on people which is an issue for a 85lb dog. It got to the point where we were unable to have guests at our house and taking him out was generally unpleasant. We were a bit nervous about doing ecollar training initially, but he is truely a different dog now - and noticeably happier as we can now communicate and involve him in day to day activities. I would highly recommend this training to anyone dealing with similar issues and only wish we had done it sooner!

We love Off-Leash K9 Training and Lacey our trainer (and everyone else that worked with our guy). We sent our 10 month Goldendoodle Grey to the 2 week Training and he came back a BRAND NEW dog. It is amazing all that Lacey taught him. We love our guy, but we didn’t know what to do, because he was displaying a lot of behaviors that we could not seem to control. All of those behaviors were taken care of after his time at Off-Leash. Lacey has also been so wonderful answering any questions since he has been home from training. If we notice he is doing something that we aren’t sure to handle, I text her and she is so responsive and amazing at telling me what we need to do.

I 100% recommend Off-Leash K9 Training. Don’t wait! I promise you will have no regrets.

I can’t enough recommend this school and especially our trainer Brandon. My husband and I have 3 years old Labrador Ellie and experienced some issues like she always pools on walks, and she didn’t come on recall. We tried so many ways to fix it but didn’t get the results we expected. Then we plan to have a vacation and decided it’s a great time to give Ellie the opportunity to learn with professionals. We found this school and contacted them immediately. All people with we talked by the phone was very nice, trustworthy and kindly answered all questions, so it was an easy decision. We had a chance to choose the trainer for her and I am so happy we chosen Brandon. He is amazing, every single day we get a report card with pics and video which was so helpful since we missed her so much. At the end of her 2 weeks program we can’t believe the results, she is totally different dog, she didn’t pools and come on recalls. Today was her pick up and Brandon explained all that she learned and give us a lot suggestions, we had enough time to practice together on commands and we are so excited to continue her training at home.
