I thought that bringing my Border Collie to Sal for boarding and training would present Sal with a unique challenge: smart stubborn dog. When I returned from my two-week vacation, my dog was a different dog entirely. She followed instructions, and she was obedient. And still very friendly. I am impressed. Best thing 1've ever done for me and my dog. Definitely I will highly recommend Sal to my friends who have dogs. Sal is the best, I appreciate what he did for my doggy.

We hired Sal to help with some basic training and obedience for our 6-month-old Bernese mountain dog pup and we are SO glad we did! Prior to our training, she was a nightmare to walk on a leash, was stubborn with learning commands, and didn’t mind boundaries we’d put in place. After 3 weeks of training with Sal, she showed so much improvement. Walking her is so enjoyable now, a night and day difference. She can walk with a loose leash and isn’t reactive. She has learned and follows commands like sit, down, place, and come with ease. He also helped us crate train her (which we were unsuccessful with on our own). Truly has been such a great investment and our friends and family have noticed such a difference with her too! Sals approach is very helpful and he is knowledgeable about dogs at all different stages and temperaments. Our dog respected and loved him so much, we would call him the “dog whisperer.” Thanks Sal for everything!

When searching for a dog trainer, we were unsure about where to get training for our dog Marley. Marley struggled with walking on a leash, staying home, and had an extreme fear of people. After Marley attended board and training with Sal we are able to enjoy our loose leash walking and it has help significantly with his separation anxiety. Thank you so much Sal for giving Marley his confidence so he is able to enjoy his life with us!

Our golden retriever, Winston (started when he was 7 months, now on his last day of training he turned 9 months), had 6 private lessons for obedience training and he has improved tremendously from tugging and pulling while we walk to walking side by side with us and following our commands. He used to be all over the place when walking him, but now we can walk and jog with him being next to us and not reacting to alot of distractions such as people walking by, dogs walking by, birds, etc. He’s also been good with sit and down, and waiting for us to call him when we leave him for a couple of mins in the middle of the park or sidewalk. He also really likes Sal. Sal always makes it fun for him! We appreciate Sal and everything he’s done for our Winston boy. We will definitely keep Sal in mind when we ever need refreshers for training and also boarding if we go on trips because he will also continue to keep your dog practicing what they trained especially on walks!

Sal and his team are amazing. I had an 11 month old boxer/caine corso mix who was just a ball of energy and very hard to train. Sal worked wonders. She is still the most loving dog but now she listens and walks on leash without pulling my shoulder out. Would highly recommend!

Our puppy successfully completed a two-week board and train with Sal. We couldn’t be happier with the results. Now we can confidently take our large dog on walks without him pulling, and he can join us on family park outings with lots of other people, dogs and general commotion and we trust he’ll respond to our commands. My favorite thing is how happy and excited our dog is whenever he sees Sal. This tells me he had a positive experience during the board and train. It’s clear Sal loves dogs and we’re so grateful to have found him!

We had trouble with our one-year-old Akita Inu, Latte - He constantly tugs at the leash on walks, cannot control himself when he sees other dogs, barks at strangers, and is incredibly good at escaping the house.

In around two weeks, Sal completely changed our dog's behaviour! (Like seriously, it's almost unbelievable). He now walks beside me on walks, sits on command, is now significantly better at interacting with other dogs, and hasn't tried escaping the house once! Sal even helped with things like getting him to behave and relax while his nails were getting filed.

He not only trained our dog in behaving, but also taught us how to handle him properly. Super grateful to him, and could not recommend him more to anyone looking to get their dog trained!!!!!!
