Shanthi and her team are knowledgeable, passionate problem solvers. They observe you and your dog to develop and teach you useful training strategies and tips—all using positive reinforcement. Everything is presented in practical, easy to understand ways, and feedback is provided during practice in classes. Plus, classes are fun for you and your dog!

Shanthi and Rachel have helped my dog and me navigate basic skills, reactivity and guarding issues, and the challenges of doggie adolescence. Their tips, strategies, games, and exercises have all helped me understand what my dog needs from me to be successful. Shanthi and Rachel’s positivity, enthusiasm, and professional observations have increased my confidence in managing my dog so he feels safe and less fearful in novel or perceived scary situations and we see increased progress daily!

My dog also loves seeing all his doggie friends at day school and his favorite people: Shanthi, Rachel, Donovan, Amber, and Ashe! Thank you, Shanthi and Team at School for Dogs! We love you! ❤️

I never imagined I'd love and rely on this dog school like I have! When we first took our dog several months ago, I asked if he could come more days per week, thinking we'd get him "graduated" and not have to spend more money over time. They were flexible with the timing, but once he did "graduate" I did not want him to stop going.

Shanthi and the trainers there are kind, patient, and magicians with dogs. The dog school is worth every penny. They'll help you with all the basics of training, step-by-step, with flexibility of group classes, day school for just the dog, or private sessions.

I showed up to the first group class soaking wet from having to give him a bath on the way and now find that the calmest part of my day is dropping him off at the dog school! They know him, know us, and he gallops as fast as he can to get inside each time. Many thanks to Shanthi, Donavan, Ashe, Amber, and Rachel for making our experience here great every day!

Just finished the 4 week puppy class . . . Shanthi is such an amazing trainer!! She takes the time to get to know every dog and what she can do to help them the most. Our new pup has learned a ton and can't wait to go to class every Saturday. He will definitely be taking the advanced classes as well!

Shanthi and her team are fantastic. My Great Dane Jack was fearful when interacting with other dogs and visiting the vet. Shanthi worked with us and taught me so much about understanding dog behavior so I could better understand what my pet needed to feel safe. Her staff helped Jack socialize more comfortably with other dogs at the Day School program and Jack can now visit the vet without fear!

My dog Luna and I absolutely love NWA School for Dogs. I took Luna to the puppy class when she was 4 months old. She became a completely different dog during the course of that class. We continued to work with her after the class and enrolled her in the advanced manners class. Again Luna completely changed for the better while in the class. Shanthi is amazing and is so good at what she does. She works on what your dog needs and truly cares about your dog succeeding. Luna absolutely loves her and loves attending class. Because we love this place so much we are actually about to start a 3rd six week course here. I can not say more good things about this place.
