Took my puppy Rottweiler to the puppy kindergarten and the continued class. Overall the first class was pretty good and contained a lot of tricks and learning methods I was able to apply to my dog well. The second class is where things went downhill. A lot of the times the trainer (older woman) would be repeating and teaching the same basic commands such as stay or recall. Barely any new information was learned from this continued class and I almost started to feel like she would just drag the class on to make it past the hour of training. Overall would not recommend. The trainer would even tell stories of times where she couldn’t even control or soothe her own dog.

The staff is always professional and so good at what they do! Bev works with Doc on his nose work skill set and Jane trains Wyatt to be the best puppy he can be. My boys appreciate all the work that their trainers put into their classes.

If you can take a class with Kim I would HIGHLY recommend. Kim is very knowledgeable, patient, and attentive. Her assistant and her give indivual attention during the beginning of class which is awesome because you have time to ask specific questions. My fiance and I really debated rehoming our adolescent dog as she was a little too much for us. During our first puppy class we surely thought she would be kicked out. We ended up taking 2 classes ( 12 weeks total ). I could not be happier. Our adolescent is not perfect but seeing her behavior change from week 1 to 12 was truly amazing. The interesting part is , my mom was recommend Narnia by a pet store manager ... didn't recommend their own training. I'm truly grateful for our experience and appreciate the support from Kim and her assistant.

I have been going here for years with my puppies. It is the best place to go for training. Nothing compares to them. They are so knowledgeable and even though I've had Standard Poodles for over 30 years, there's always something new to learn.

We have taken our dog here for two behavior training sessions, Beginning Obedience and Manners & Self-Control. For the first class, we craved help in communicating with our puppy and learning how to train. The instructors were incredibly helpful with presenting information to the group, and with providing one-on-one help. When we were ready to go to the next level, Manners & Self-Control helped us tackle more significant behaviors like leash training and interacting with house guests. Again, we were able to receive individual help with our questions, in addition to the group training being very useful.

I like the group training format, where I can work with my dog and not feel scrutinized by the instructors, but also receive feedback occasionally as they walk by. I never felt put on the spot or uncomfortable in class, but free to work with my dog and his needs. With both classes, we felt like we were connecting with our dog better, that he was being more affectionate with and responsive to us, and we now feel more confident and optimistic as dog owners. We are considering more classes in the future to keep working on our dog's training.

One night, I was worried about the roads since it had recently snowed and rained. We were very grateful that Narnia was safely accessible even in bad weather, and the parking lot was plowed perfectly and was amazingly bone-dry. It made me feel safe as a client knowing that Narnia takes care of the parking lot even in midwinter!

Me and my girlfriend have been taking classes here for our pup. The trainers are extremely knowledgeable, and the lessons in class work almost instantly! Of course with dog training, the onus is on the owner to continue the training outside of class; so if anyone ever thinks that the training doesn't work, they have to ask themselves, are they doing all they can outside of class?

Everything that they teach us works, it's just about consistency. Any issues that we have with our dog we ask them about and they give us good instructions to help.

We went to beginner obedience class with our 10 week old puppy and was asked to leave after the first couple of minutes due to our dog being very scared of others in the class. They recommended one on one training to relieve the timidness with hopes to enroll in the obedience class after completing one in one. We did pursue the one on one training, it was an hour and 30 minute session in the back office that contained about 90% discussion on his emotions and only 10% training methods/actions. All information was helpful however it was our understanding that one on one training would be more corrective action based instead of how to analyze our dogs emotions. The trainer was informative, but for the price we expected more direct training. When we left, the trainer provided more information to research various training methods instead of physically showing us how to correct/calm our puppy. We felt as if all of this information was already available online and would not recommend one on one training. Unfortunately after a few weeks, none of the methods we discussed in our one in one session have helped calm him down when he becomes stressed and looking elsewhere.

We have been to numerous trainers and training facilities in the past Narnia is by far the best. Kim is a wonderful trainer. My dog enjoys private sessions with her.
