Old dogs can learn new tricks if you put in the effort and hire Karl to help! Karl helped me train my 8yr dog an advanced training technique that’d I’d been wanting to do for so long. My dog can now bring me the leash in order to take a walk and he does it with such joy and ambition! Karl also helped me teach him to stay focused on me during a walk so that he and I are able to work as a team. I loved the private home package option and appreciated the homework that I had to do between each lesson.

Mutts & Munch is awesome. This is a must for my family when we visit LA. They're friendly with good food. They take great care of our dog Loki, and he enjoys his food. We have gone here two years in a row and plan to return next year.

What a wonderful place to bring your pups for a snack and make new friends! The menu for humans and furry kids has some really delicious options and service is superb. And best of all... it's a great environment for the pups and their owners to socialize with other likeminded. Besides the cafe amenities, the owners Karl and Anna offer the doggy daycare and training services. Karl is an experienced dog trainer who was referred to us by several dog owners. After hearing multiple reviews about his excellent work and talent we hired Karl to train our Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy. Six training sessions later - the results were outstanding. We are very pleased we found Karl and will be his loyal clients and customers of Mutts + Munch! Karl and Anna are the kindest human beings who serve our community as partners of The Animal Rescue Mission, the organization that focuses on the rescue, rehabilitation and re-rehoming of dogs saved from neglect and abuse. Got all three of our Pekingese in training at Mutts and Munch. One in a puppy class and the other two doing privates. We have one pup that is very reactive and with Karl’s help she is becoming a well mannered dog. Karl and Casey are very informative and clear on how to train your dogs in class and give homework to help solidify everything learned in class. The cafe is amazing and has all sorts of pet friendly doggie delicacies all made from REAL ingredients. Anna makes an amazing coffee and human food by the way so you don’t even need to be a dog owner to check out the cafe. Everyone is friendly and enthusiastic about dogs, what else could you ask for? We’re so happy we found this place, and will be clients for a long time to come.

If it's true that all dogs go to heaven, Karl & Anna are heaven on earth!! We've been fortunate to have met them, as they have cared for and trained our Golden Retriever puppy Cody Nachos Bellinger. Cody loves being in day care with his friends, and Karl and Anna spent 2 weeks boarding Cody while he learned to be comfortable on leash. They are sweet dog lovers and it shows! Their cafe' is equally brilliant.
