Murphys Dog Store

My Hubby disappeared from the group and I found him trying on hats in the Dog store. I did not find any hats that suited my aesthetic but he bought two and a leash and halter that fit our little girl perfectly! Even though she was not with us. We said she was about 10 pounds and a Terrier. Great shop my husband wants to go back and me too.

Owner is rude, abrasive, deceitful and completely out of touch. Be prepared for an immediate rampage over the kind of harness your dog is wearing. I guess this is her tactic to sell these insanely priced custom harnesses that line half the store. The business is surviving solely off the astronomical markup on items. Truly the most disappointing experience I’ve ever had at a small business.

Yup! My experience was the same. Could barely get through the door without being cornered about the harness. I was trying to shop, not be harassed with unsolicited training advice.

If I could leave a zero star review I would! I have never met a more rude and disrespectful shop owner in my life! My friends and I walked into this shop and were immediately harassed multiple times by the owner repeatedly asking personal health related questions. It was extremely uncomfortable! We are all vaccinated, but her repeated harassment and rude attitude was completely inappropriate! The prices for everything were way to expensive anyway. I do not recommend going into this store!

Support small local businesses! Pretty amazing store for your pet needs. They carry custom products that are meant to provide well being for your pets. Owner is very hands and particular with the products they sell. They will help custom fit harnesses for your dogs to ensure a proper and comfortable fit. When strolling through Murphys, make sure to stop here for you and your pets.

The store owner is very outgoing and knowledgeable! We had our pup fitted in a halter & purcashed the matching leash, could not be happier. Our pup is easier to walk now.

I've been coming to Murphy's for years, and enjoy all of the boutique shops they have to offer. I'm a dog guy, so I can't walk past this shop with out stopping in. Unfortunately, the shop owner here is hit and miss... sometimes the service is ok, and sometimes it is down right terrible. After my most recent experience, I felt I needed to leave a review. Sorry, but not sorry... don't waste your time here, unless you are looking for horrible service, and high prices!
