This is loooong overdue and I wish I would have written this sooner. My dogs loooooooove going into romp and chomp. When we park for drop off, they know and get so excited. (Maybe a bit too excited lol). Adam and Elizabeth have been so accommodating with my crazy schedule. You can tell that they truly love dogs. I am so grateful for their care. Plus, their storefront has better prices for treats/toys than even bigger stores! Shop small 🙂

I had a very good experience with the day care here. My Chow Koda doesn't spend much time in day care facilities, so I was a bit apprehensive, but Adam and the handlers were very flexible with him and made him feel at home by introducing him to the facility and to the other dogs gradually. When I picked Koda up, the staff was very specific about how he had behaved (of course he was a good boy!), and he was totally calm and serene, even. I think he had a great time! The key was that the staff was willing to pay attention to the individual dogs and assure the right circumstances for their guests.

Absolutely phenomenal people run this pet store. I've known the owners for a decade plus and the love that they shine into caring for animals is going to be extremely hard to find anything even half as good. They provide excellent service and truly care about both the services and the products they are offering both to people looking for pet supplies for purchase or delivery in Leadville, CO AND outside (like me!) in offering shipping! My baby girl Karma LOVES their Barkcutterie bags and the vast selection of great treats I was able to get through them.

So impressed with EVERYTHING at Mountain Dogs, the staff is incredible and they truly care about the animals in their care. I have a 7 month old puppy and wanted him to be able to enjoy his day while I work and this is the perfect place! The dogs are always supervised and have room to play and be dogs! This has helped out so much with his socialization. I feel very comfortable leaving my little guy here because I know that he is going to come home healthy happy and tired!
They also have a really nice selection of food and treats!
