They say you can’t teach old dogs new tricks, but that’s definitely not the case with the help of Adam and Mitch. I have two dogs, ages 7 and 8, and each was reactive in their own way.

This past summer, things got so bad that my dogs got into a serious scuffle with each other, and I wasn’t sure how to move forward. From our very first meeting, Adam was attentive and perceptive, recognizing that each of my dogs needed help in different ways. I truly appreciated how he tailored their training—working with them separately, together, and customizing the approach to suit both of their needs. Mitch also provided incredible group training sessions and one-on-one work with my dogs.

Fast forward six months, and my dogs are now significantly more confident, calm, happy, and less reactive. I’ve received countless compliments on their behavior—something that felt far out of reach before. Most importantly, I feel so much more confident handling my dogs.

I also had the opportunity to board my dogs with them, and Uriah was absolutely amazing. My dogs came back happier and calmer than ever before. It’s such a huge relief to know they were so well taken care of.

Our dogs, Emma and Odin, completed a 4-week board and train program, followed by ongoing individual training sessions to reinforce their progress. What stood out to us was how uniquely tailored the programs were for each of them.

Emma, a nervous dog, needed focused confidence-building, while Odin, our energetic Belgian Malinois puppy, required a strong foundation to start off on the right track. MOC K9 (Mitch and Adam) are the best dog trainers I have ever met. I got my third German Shepherd in October of 2023. Then around 6 months old, out of no where he had very aggressive reactivity. Dogs, people, a flying plastic bag, you name it, he reacted to it. This was something I have never had to deal with when my other two shepherds were pups. I was at a loss about how to handle his behavior. I was looking at board and trains (not against them just didn't necessarily want to do it if I didn't have to.) I talked to probably 10 different dog training companies. Name all the big ones you've looked in to as well, I interviewed them. None of them fit the mold for what I was looking for. I was at a loss for how to handle his behavior...

I filled out a form on MOC K9's website to talk about what I was dealing with. Adam called me probably 4 hours later and talked to me about what I was dealing with. I went in for the consultation and we discussed the new approach to training dogs especially high drive working dogs like German Shepherds. I was sold.

Fast forward to three months after I started training myself and my pup (Finn) with Mitch and Adam. He is incredible on leash, off leash, in stores, trails, around kids, other dogs, and pretty much any scenario I throw him into. You have to put in the work too, but they give you the tools and guidance to get you there. I can't thank them enough for the freedom they have given me and my pup to explore this beautiful state. If you're dealing with reactivity, trying to master obedience, build confidence in your pup, etc. these dudes are legit. I can't recommend them enough.

I can’t say enough amazing this about Adam and his team. We sent Kylo to a board and train with him over the summer and Kylo has been amazing ever since. Kylo has always had issues with dogs bigger than him to the point I was afraid for Kylo’s well being. No one could come over with him losing his mind, he would chase delivery drivers, neighbors walking by, we couldn’t take him anywhere with us. After working with M.O.C K-9 Training Kylo is able to be calmer, he can sit on the front porch with us, people can come over and best of all we can take Kylo places with us! He is much more confident and a thousand times less reactive. If you are even thinking about training for your dog, Adam is who you need to go see! My only regret is that I waited as long as as I did before taking Kylo there.

We recently had the pleasure of working with MOC K9 and their incredible trainers, Adam and Mitch, for our blue heeler, Rip. Prior to training, Rip was a handful—terrible on a leash, constantly chasing our livestock, and had a fierce aversion to anything on wheels. With our busy lives running a business and raising four kids, we simply didn’t have the time or knowledge to train him effectively.

I highly recommend MOC K-9! The team took our high energy “crazy girl” and turned her into a wonderful member of the family. After the three week board and train, our Labrador Retriever came home with an extremely strong foundation. MOC K-9 undid some of our misdirected efforts and built on others that were successful. She stopped barking to get what she wanted and has learned to wait. We’ve used other trainers in the past for other dogs, but Adam, Mitch, and the team have the right approach and the results are unquestionable. They teach you how to continue working with your dog to maintain the progress. Our girl keeps getting better each day as we build on the MOC K-9 foundation and she is better behaved off leash than most dogs are on leash. The support doesn’t end when you pick up your new better behaved dog. They are happy to help with the transition period in answering your questions and helping address any challenges that arise. We are done with obedience training, but I can’t stop going to see Mitch because he has literally changed my life!! Adam and Mitch will change your life as well! You will have an awesome dog when you go see them!!!!!!!!
