Highly recommend the Midwest School! They always cheer for our Kodi like he's a rockstar when we walk in, and he loooves the staff there. We know he's a lot of dog and expect grooming him to be expensive but they always do an excellent job at a good price. He is so silky soft and we can tell he feels fresh too!

Had a terrible experience here — the owner Aimee is rude, careless, and has an awful attitude. I took my 16lb senior dog here for a nail trimming and the owner completely rushed the job and was being so careless about it, she ended up cutting one of my dog’s nails too short and he cried out in pain and started bleeding. That can happen on accident, of course, but it clearly happened on the account of her rushing and being careless (this never happened before with the worker there who usually cuts his nails).

When I simply expressed my disappointment that it caused my dog to bleed, she didn’t even apologize and started being unnecessarily defensive and rude towards me. She kept insisting that it’s “normal” for dogs to bleed when they get their nails cut which makes absolutely no sense at all — why would I be paying a trained professional to trim my dog’s nails instead of doing it myself at home then? Needless to say I’m never coming back here again — I’d rather go somewhere where they aren’t careless with my dog and treat people kindly.

This is the best dog groomer ever!
Having such a big dog (St. Bernard) it's really tough finding a place that can have a good handle on him as well as someone we trust and someone Bruiser (our pup) trusts!

We've been coming just about a year now & when we come in, Bruiser is pulling me to the front door! He loves coming in and I love dropping him off. He absolutely loves and knows when it's time for him to get cleaned up!

He comes back looking and smelling like a million bucks! The owners are so kind, they remember the dogs & people, they're so personable and very consistent. I would recommend any dog owner to trust their pup with this establishment!

I drove nearly an hour because I was told these guys were the best of the best. Where even my vet failed to give him a nail clipping, these guys did it with ease. They even did it in front of me in under 5 minutes.

I never thought I'd say this given the distance but they are worth every penny... even if I spend more on the gas driving there. I truly can't say enough good things about this place.

Love this place for my dogs!! My dog Mila has been coming here for a year now and the staff there do such a wonderful job and are very thorough! Prices are very reasonable as well!! The staff is also super friendly and knowledgeable which makes leaving my dogs with “strangers” less stressful! At this point even my dog is excited to come in the second we get out of the car! They are no longer strangers. I recently got another dog who is a rescue and a super anxious and nervous dog, they made sure he was comfortable and less anxious. He’s scared of loud sounds like the dryer but the staff helped him get through it! So glad I found Midwest and have recommended them to all my family and friends! Just got a pup and called around…from the warm friendly voice from Emily, I knew this was the place for Chase. Easy to book and drop off. And after his first visit, he looked fantastic, so we have been back three times since. Price was higher than I wanted for a puppy, but he is a sheepadoodle…$70.

I rarely give reviews but feel I should today. I’ve brought my dog Millie here over the last year. Today was her 4th time coming. They do a good job grooming her and the lady I usually interact with is really nice. Today, I came to pick Millie up and the lady who checked me out was very rude. I’ve always paid $70. She told me it was $80 and when I said I always pay $70 she told me that I can have that price if I bring Millie in every 3-4 months. I brought her in at the end of December and the 1st time I brought her she had never been groomed before and I was charged $70. When I said that, she told me that Millie has gotten a lot bigger-which isn’t true and told me I had argued with her before about the price- again not true. The place was very busy and maybe that’s why she was so rude- not sure but I’ll go somewhere else that will give me accurate pricing beforehand and treat me kindly.
