Beautifully kept rustic cabin with the cozy comforts of home. The private hot spring pool is absolute perfection. This was our second visit to the cabin, and we will definitely be going back on a regular basis. The ambiance, privacy, and comfort are worth every penny.

We enjoyed ourselves for our birthday again and loved it. Great and clean place. It is super well equipped with all you need. We got groceries at lagrees Food Mart to supplement. They even made sure to come back and bring extra robes. Super cool and fun Colorado place in beautiful Buena Vista.

We didn’t stay at the cabins, we just went for the Hot Springs. It was a very clean calm atmosphere. The botanical garden part was small, but nice and peaceful. We enjoyed our visit there!

Very disappointed in our experience. Property owner sent no information on check-in procedure, so we arrived in the rain locked out after travelling a long distance. They stated that "they tried contacting us multiple times" but the only thing received was an e-mail with a final invoice (deposit had already been paid).

Cabin is located around 20 feet from a busy highway. The "hot springs" is essentially a standard commercially available hot tub that gets a small amount of makeup water from the spring. The cabin also smells of urine, despite the steep "cleaning fee" that is charged as part of your stay.

What really soured our experience was how we and our kids were treated with no advanced info on what to expect or how to access the property, and essentially "held hostage" outside in the rain until we paid a final e-mail invoice.

Super. Awesome. We will absolutely be back! Nice and quiet place with a private hot springs tub. The cabin is perfect. Our dog loves it too!!The hosts were great. Close to town. The cabin has everything you need if you don't want to leave at all! I'll be booking both cabins for the family for a few days sometime soon! Thanks so much!

What an absolute Gem!! 💎 This beautiful cabin is so worth going to!! Worth all the memories, worth cutting off the world for a bit, worth all the photos and peace of mind. I’m still on cloud 9 and it’s been almost a week since we left!As soon as I walked in I was blown away by their attention to detail, extremely clean cabin, cold champagne waiting for us, a super cute note- wow. I could not have asked for anything more. We kept saying I wish we had a cabin like this. We left the cabin and the entire ride home was planning when we can go back! We had a wonderful, intimate wedding getaway at these beautiful cabins and hot springs. We rented both cabins for 3 nights and the experience was amazing! Most of the issues I read in an earlier review seem to have been fixed. There were some minor repairs that still needed tending, our crew fixed a few while we were there (invite us back for a discount and we'll do more!) But nothing that I found worthy of complaining about with the unbelievable surroundings and all the unique log furnishings. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The kitchen is well stocked with pans and utensils. We appreciated the robes and plenty of soft towels. All around we felt very well taken care of! The creek and bridge were beautiful and felt secluded even though it's close to the road. We would love to come back someday.

This is our second stay at Merrifield Cabins and it is really a special place. It's truly unique to find a private, natural hot spring pool steps away from the front door with the sound of the stream below. The cabin offers a perfect blend of rustic solitude and modern convenience close to town. The owners were helpful and easy to work with, thanks again!
