Julie has been grooming my rescue dog since she was 6 months old. Naturally skittish and timid, my dog has grown much more confident thanks to Julie’s patience, dedication to our pets, gentleness, and encouragement during her regular grooming sessions. Now 5 years old, my pup considers Julie—and our monthly visits to Meadows—a routine part of her life. I’m so grateful for the loving care they provide for my little girl.

I was recommended to this place for a nail clipping for my 7 month old kitten Tiger. They did a fantastic job, the people there really love animals. A few days later, we picked up our new 8 week old kitten Jake. While driving Jake home, we noticed a flea on him. I called them at 3 pm on a Friday and let them know our situation. They said to bring him in, when we arrived they said he was INFESTED! They gave him two baths and the fleas were gone. Thank you so much.

I can't say enough good things about Meadows Pet Care! They consistently do an outstanding job with my dog, making sure he looks his best every time. The staff is incredibly friendly, professional, and truly passionate about what they do. Their prices are very reasonable, especially considering the high quality of service they provide. Very pleased with my first visit to Meadows Pet Care. My cat has struggled with grooming appointments in the past. She typically is very social, mellow, loving, sweet angel cat, but typically after grooming appointments she totally hides away, she isn’t interested in food, and acts traumatized by the experience for days. Even after I bath her she isn’t happy for at least an afternoon, but I am happy to report after her first visit to Meadows Pet Care she is acting like her normal perfect self right after getting home. She is even sitting in my lap licking me while I write the review! I can tell she is happy and likes the way she looks and so do I. It is obvious to me Meadows took very good care of my cat and I could not be more grateful. ❤️

UPDATE: I updated my review from 1 stars to 3 because I was really happy with the followup from James. He reached out by phone and was very kind and sympathetic. He offered both to fix the grooming issues as well as a free groom on a following visit.

While we weren't happy with the grooming initially, their customer service in response to a negative review was handled in the best way possible.

I never leave reviews (especially negative) but for the price ($55 after 10% off) and the time it took (4 hours for a dog under 10lbs), I couldn’t avoid it.

The worst of it all was that despite there being long hairs left between the pads of his paws, his back left paw was cut, causing him to bleed and limp through the next day.

The final result on our dogs body is fine, but the details are bad. For example, we asked for a short cut on his ears and snout (and showed pictures), but the ears are extremely choppy and his snout was left long.

The tail was left untouched, and there are a number of random long patches left, including right under his tail in a very obvious spot.

This was our first time here, and considering the price and how nice the staff was, I had relatively high expectations. I was pretty disappointed, and was sad to see my dog in pain after grooming.

Had our first groom with them today. Our Golden Retriever has never come out of a grooming so clean, happy, and with no shedding! They did an awesome job and staff was very kind and friendly. 🙂

When we moved to San Marcos I found Meadows across the street. It's a great little hidden gem! They don't crate your dogs, they have a little pen that they hang out in. They've always been flexible with my schedule..even when I call at the last minute. I have 2 fur babies and they always take them at the same time. Julie is our go to groomer, she's great with them and they always come home clean and pretty! Prices are reasonable. I would strongly recommend them!
