My little 14 pound Coton de Tulear, Aimée, has not put all of her fear issues behind her, but she is 75% improved thanks to the doggie play group that sprung up in our neighborhood. She has learned that bigger dogs or higher energy dogs are not a threat - that they can be friends. She now greets the big, lively, happy Portuguese Water Dog from down the street nonchalantly, instead of crouching, growling and baring her teeth. And one of her favorite new friends is a big golden retriever. She will frolic and chase and play with the littler dogs in the group that are her size. And we were able to do this because of what you taught us Staci! One of my other friends in the neighborhood (that I gave your contact information to) is training her inherited dog, Fluffy, with you as well, and his progress has been amazing! I highly recommend Manners for Mutts!
