We’ve had such an incredible experience with Kevin at Mannered Mutts. Not only is he super knowledgeable, but makes the lessons enjoyable, easy to understand and even easier to take home and practice on your own. After all, it’s been said that dog training is more about training the people than the dog.

Our pup is 2 years old and we were nervous that his habits and disobedience was too far along to be corrected. After spending a week in the Board & Train, going through our first 2 lessons after, and being diligent at home, there has been great progress and we firmly believe it’s only going to get better from here.

We couldn’t recommend Kevin and Mannered Mutts more.

I am glad I found Mannered Mutts! Kevin was excellent in training my one-and-a-half-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier Mix that I adopted from Heartland Animal Shelter.
I tried off-leash training with no prior experience, which almost resulted in Moose getting hit by a car. Immediately after that, I researched trainers that specialize in off-leash training. Kevin had great reviews, so I decided to go with him.
The results were incredible. My dog is so much more well-behaved on and off-leash. Moose responds very well to verbal commands, and I don't have to use a leash anymore. The difference is night and day.
There have been many people that have noticed my dogs behavior and ask me where I took him for training. I do not hesitate to say Mannered Mutts! Ask for Kevin!

Kevin is amazing! We did 4 personal training sessions and it has completely transformed our life. He was so patient with us and our dog and took the time to answer all of our questions and help us understand how a working dog works 🙂 He has given us the skills to help our dog improve her confidence and as a result lead a much less anxious life. We were recently able to take her to a 4th of July get together and she was able to be off-leash around many strangers, other dogs and even horses with no issues. Friends who hadn't seen her since the previous year even commented on how well she did and that she seemed like a different dog. Thank you so much, Kevin!

Kevin is awesome with difficult dogs! You can tell dogs are his passion - he’s knowledgeable but also seems to really have fun working with them. We brought our deaf puppy to Mannered Mutts and can’t be happier with how well behaved he is now.

I had only ever let my family puppy-sit until Mannered Mutts came along. Kevin isn't kidding when he says your dog will be right at home AND practicing obedience every day during Boarding & Training sessions. Now, my German Shepherd/Belgian Malinois mix absolutely loves learning new tricks because the Mannered Mutts team made it so much fun. I'm pretty sure she wants to move in permanently.
